okay sooo to start out... i am like addicted to fonts. i have more fonts than i know what to do with after stealing them from the computers at school and just randomly searching for cool ones. To be honest, I don't know much Wrock or the HP community in general; I only got through the last book a couple of months ago and that was only because I discovered that Stephen Fry reads the UK audiobooks (24 hours of that voice, mmm). I'll have a look at MoM and Remus Lupins, though, and tell you what I think.

Your niece got lucky. I think getting mine out started me snoring! Yeah, as for teeth, I just couldn't think of anything off the top of my head that sends people into a tonsil-removing frenzy nowadays.

I don't know how the graduation exams work in the States, here everyone sits the exams, you don't have a choice. If you do badly, you're screwed. The Spanish universities were worse though, the teachers act like they want to be there less than the pupils, it was really quite depressing being in the classes.

Well, considering I've still yet to record: In a nutshell, I arrived in Austria on a Friday at around 2, only to discover that the housing office for the university was only open between 9 and 12 each day (which is ridiculous). So I went to the apartment building I was staying at, hoping that I could find a receptionist or a janitor, but there are no staff on site outside of office hours (which is ridiculous). My name was on the list of people living there, but I had no way of getting into my room, I was sat in the foyer with all my worldlies pondering what to do next, met some nice people who invited me for soup and eventually I decided to see if my flatmate was in the room already. Turns out he was, so I could get into the flat but not my bedroom (which is ridiculous). Fortunately, he knew a guy who had a spare mattress, so we grabbed that, borowed blankets from my friends with the soup and set the whole thing up in a corner of the kitchen, where I slept for the first weekend.

We do have conventions, but I don't think they have the same amount of funding or advertising, which is a shame. And weird considering so much of the stuff you guys are having conventions about came from this country. Speaking of, have you seen Red Dwarf? It's a fantastic sci-fi sit-com, not quite as good as Doctor Who, but still hilarious at times. I believe I shall meander, probably not next year, but maybe 2011.

Thanks for telling me how to get the player on my page! I've noticed in your collab that you do crochet, have you ever seen this?

The only reason I asked about LeakyCon is because it's been mentioned in the YouTube videos of certain popular vloggers, so I thought I'd try and name drop.

Yeah, I kind of figure ours was the last generation that had them pulled out for giggles, about half of the people my age have them and half don't, after that people only got them removed if the tonsil grew teeth and started to eat you.

I like to think I gave the Spanish university system as much as it gave me - bugger all - but there were deeper reasons as well which I'd rather not dwell on.

I think it is, I'm almost tempted to use it to get you to watch my next vlog, I'm going to mention it in the next one that goes up (some time before this weekend). Vlogging again does feel good, let's just hope that the Austrians are as forgiving as the Spaniards to the guy walking around the city talking to his shoulder (someone said that was how I looked while recording).

I've been watching your "collab", as you've probably noticed. They're really good, short and sweet and funny. I just got past the Gallifrey 1 vlogs and I'm jealous, I don't think we get anything like that over here, I shall have to try and attend before (/if) I become old enough to know better. Also Hello Monday, whilst a good song, is going to have driven me insane by the time I get through all hundred and a few videos.

We now seem to be communication in bullet points, how efficient.

No risk of me catching tonsillitis, I lack the bits necessary for catching it, had them removed when I was about seven or so.

My travels are going well, I finished up in Seville, which I was really glad of, I love the city, but I had a bit of a bad few months there which ended up with me failing my exams. Badly. I didn't show up for a couple.

Fortunately, I went home, had a good week in the UK visiting people at their own universities, then came out to Austria, which is a nice change. Managed to spend my first weekend living on my own kitchen floor, but met some other nice Erasmus students out of it.

I'm feeling really good about everything at the moment, because I just got back from visiting my home town in west Austria, so I feel all refreshed and happy, and I've started vlogging again, all good things!

Speaking of, I like your "collaboration" project, I shall have a look through your archives over the next couple of days.

I count it as travelling, you're states are pretty much as big as a European country. You've crossed three states, I've crossed three countries, so you're as well travelled on your continent as I am on mine. What have you been up to in Cali?
