I think this may be my favorite nerdfighter picture of the week. It's not any one thing...but...the combination is unbelievably awesome.

My sons have grown suddenly quite old. They turn up their noses at the things that

they loved just a few short months ago.

Long gone are the days of trains and trucks, replaced unceremoniously

with a Star Wars obsession that is promising to be as keen as their Dad’s. Dinosaurs are still interesting, but only the

So, there are a few other nerdfighters that are over 30 out there - which is a big relief because it was starting to feel a little weird feeling like maybe I was in a club for teenagers. I love teenagers, don't get me wrong! But it would just be a little weird if I was in a club with ~only~ teenagers... although, I guess that wouldn't be that much different from teaching - ha! It's difficult coming to terms with the fact that my week days will no longer be filled with as much awesome as I have no more daily videos from Hank and John to look forward to- they've been a huge part of my life since the middle of this year. I can't imagine describing 2007 without them.

I think what I'm going to do is combine items to make super items. But, I think the combinations is something that needs to be thought out very carefully. Because while combining 2 items to make a more awesome item can sometimes be an award winning magical task.. There's equal chance that the combination of 2 items being the complete opposite.



For example of things that exist already that when combined become ultimate awesome.... how about a banana split? Awesome... What about a Root… Continue
