TubeArts: Art and Writing Contest on YouTube: $500 prizes! (and I'm a judge)

Friend Requests!! Or, How to Make Friends on the Ning Thing...

Friends are awesome!! We all love friends... SO, I have some "friending" advice for all you lonely Nerdfighters out there:

DO explore and comment on someone's page before sending a friend request, so they know who you are!

DON'T just randomly send friend requests without first introducing yourself. It's a little like spamming someone, really. I have no context and don't know why you'd like to be my friend - a little help?

Serendipity.

Distemper Album in the Mail

w00t! Russian Nerdfighter Maya was recently in St Petersburg and decided to pick me up a copy of the new(ish) Distemper album! So Awesome!!!

For those of you who don't know, Distemper is the band that played during the middle portion of the Happy Dance Project (video below.)

I WOULD RATHER BE WITH YOU PEOPLE THAN WITH THE BEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD

I honestly have no idea what to say about being chosen as the first book (well, author . . . I'm not a book) for the Nerdfighters Blurbing Book Club.

I think this is one of the nicest things that's ever happened to me.
