That a lie you understand what happened is that over the last few months I became unemployed (ok I was only freelance but it was…

I can't deny that I haven't really given this little blog space the love it really deserves. In fact I have kind of forgotten about it all together until I saw the Ningmaster Tom video,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1NvokWO5f8&feature=sub. So I dug out my login stuff and jumped back in. This is a great network and shame on me for signing up and not actually contributing...what kind of community member does that make…

I haven't been on the Ning in a while. Here is an update on my fitness goals.
So far this year, I have lost 16 pounds. I'm sitting steady at 218 pounds right now.
I've started to pursue my goal of finishing a half-marathon this year. I've joined a school group of student who want to learn to run or people who need the motivation to run.
I had been sick for about two weeks before I started running. The half-marathon schedule starts off at running three miles "a day" (I…

Srsly.
Okay, so I'm a poor kid. I'm not going to explain too much more, just think of the poorest friend you have; that's me. Yeah.
And today, my mother got paid! So, obviously, we went out to go get things and have fun (for once). Oh yes, we're not terribly responsible, but where's the fun in that? (We did get plenty of necessities, I promise!)
First, we…

Dear Nerdfighters,
We like to thank al nerdfighters for the hundreds of e-mails and reactions on the video. We are touched by all the concerned reactions, encouragements, and prayers for Tom and our family.
Tom is still sleeping a lot, but he is conscious and he answered our questions well today. At this moment he still has some difficulties with moving the left side of his body. Tomorrow he probably will leave the intensive care and move to a normal room in the…

Hello Nerd Fighters,
It's Saturday, February 27, 2010. I'd like to talk about a very dear friend to me, Joshua.
We have been friends forever, and he is like a brother to me. While I have lucked out with good health overall, Joshua has not. He was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was in eight grade, shortly after his dad died. Everything has been fine up until now. He was under the insurance of his dad's social security, but he is now 19 and…

I disappeared from the Ning, but hopefully not from your hearts. Never stopped watching the vlog either--Real Life simply came along and I gulped me down. Only now has it regurgitated me, presumable after absorbing some of my cynicism, constant rage against the world, and my tendency to take things too seriously. Now? I am a merry little fairy, facing the world with a smile on my face, and ready to go spread my new hippie onlook to as many people as I can.
But really, I find myself…
