Whew! one more and I could of been an even 8000. Oh well. I kind of like it. Anywho, last night I finished Looking for Alaska and it was amazing! Wow. Just loved it. Can't wait to pick up An Abundance of Katherines. But until then I'm reading, Someday this pain will be useful to you but Peter Cameron. I'm only 10 pages in but I like it a lot so far. If anyone is looking for books to read please go pick up Cinda Williaims Chima's novel, The Warrior Heir. Then immediatly after pick up the sequel… Continue

Today I finally went out. Didn't go to Guia's house as planned, but still, I hung out with Kat. After my robotics meeting at school, my sister and I found Janina and her sister and we decided to go grocery shopping. We were very hungry. So, met Kat at Subway, found some friends, learned disturbing things, and then we went home. My sis made hamburgers and though she only let me get ONE, they were delicious.
Also, I got my grades today. ONLY 2 A'S. I know, not bad for most. 2 A's looks… Continue

I'm seriously fed up with my PC laptop, Bob. Vista is beautiful, but seriously I doubt it's worth the stress. I'm getting ready to go to college in the fall, but I also hope to be getting myself a job soon. So, once I have an income again, I'm seriously considering the switch to Mac. After all, all I want to do is surf the web, write, and manage music, pictures and podcasts. That's it! And yet it takes a geologic age to boot Bob up, I'm almost guaranteed to see Internet Explorer Cannot… Continue

I cannot stress this terrible issue enough. I am lazy. L-A-Z-Y. I kept telling myself, "Get a Nerdfighter account! YOU WANT TO." But hey, I was just too lazy to sign up. However, I did it. Here I am. No longer am I contributing to world suck, but helping to prevent it. I even turned on my external hard drive to get pictures from it! If it didn't involve moving my hands from the keyboard, I would probably pat myself on the back. Hooray for me. Hazzah. Okay... enough of thing self worship... Time… Continue

I saw her across the restaurant, and thought I recognized her. Then I heard her laugh, and it was as if I dunked my head in a big bucket of 1994.
She was my science partner in 8th grade. She still looked much the same, aside from a little weight put on in the chest and hips, not altogether unflatteringly. She still had a dazzling smile after all these years.
I buried my nose in my book and hoped she wouldn't notice me. What would i say to her? I hadn't seen her since we… Continue

I am just warning everybody who is attempting the reading of my blog. I mean I am pumped, no PUMPED [throw in a couple of exclamation points]. So I will probably write a bunch of stuff that nobody will read but me. Savor it, because it will be a pretty rarely awesome [I say awesome too much] blog. ♥ lovely dears, I am leaving now.

Yes folks, on April 30th at approximately 8:40 a nerdfighter was born. Well not really, that would be wierd. I became more of a nerdfighter than before? Ehm... yeah. Anyway, I have come to the recent hypothesis that nobody really knows what nerdfighter/ing is and I have yet to find a true explanation. John Green is no help, and sorry Hank but I like him better :/. Someone who fights for nerds, yeah thanks guys >.>
Ive attempted at writing books but they all fail after the first… Continue

I recently entered a poetry contest devoted to holocaust remembrance. It was part of the Jewish Community Relations Council or the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation. I won among the grade 9-10 poetry division and was chosen out of 600 student entries. WoW. So now I get to go to this awards ceremony at our courthouse and read my poem in front of people. 0.0 I get some kind of award so, well, I’m pretty sycked. So, why not, here’s the poem that I entered!

Right now I'm writing this via my Aunt's house. I should be writing it at my house buuuuut... I don't have one anymore. It hurts, you know, when you find you're basically homeless and you have to live with family members. I don't think I'm going to school for the fall semester and get one or two more jobs. I lived with my dad, previously, in our apartment while I worked on my first year of college and scrambled to get more than four hours a week at my job. I've tried to get another job but no… Continue

So today I skipped school so my dad could take me to get my temps. I never miss school. Ever. Today was the second day this year I missed. The other day was back in November and I was sickly. So my dad picked me up at 11am. That was awesome, because I didn't have to wake up until 8:00 to take a shower. I usually wake up at 5:30. So I woke up this morning, got in the shower, played piano for a bit, then read the book they give you for the test. I read the whole thing. It's 74 pages long. By the… Continue

Library Foundation Advocacy Alert
A drastic cut in the number of books on the shelves and closing libraries on Sundays will be among the effects of the proposed City budget for the Los Angeles Public Library.
Now is the time to voice your support for this essential educational and cultural resource by asking the Mayor and City Council to reverse these devastating cuts to the Library's budget.

Library Budget Faces Cuts, How You Can Change This
via LAist by An Tran on 4/29/08
The Los Angeles Public Library is under pressure from Mayor Villaraigosa and the City Council to cut spending and raise fees to help cut LA's $400 million budget deficit. If the budget goes through unchanged on May 1, drastic cuts would force eight regional branch libraries to close their doors on Sundays, the book buying budget… Continue

Nerdfighters!!!! Wow... it's been so long since I've posted. I don't actually have anything to say, but I wanted to update to let my cult following (what? I totally have one. You just don't know) know I'm alive.
First order of business: THE FIRST NEW EPISODE OF DR. WHO WAS SO CRAZY! Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?
Secondly, The Office. LONG LIVE JAM!
I have nothing to say other than ranting about TV shows and I have to go to history now, so... yeah. Please come… Continue

Well, I've begun watching the Brotherhood 2.0 project videos [having a little marathon thing :]]. I now understand some of things you other nerdfighters talk about and am on my way to learning the history of the nerdfighters and all the other projects like fiveawesomegirls/guys. I've only known about the nerdfighters for about 1 month [possibly less] through the youtube channel of the fiveawesomeguys [saw all their videos in one day.] Nonetheless, I believe it's safe to say that I am an awesome… Continue
