So...I'll bet your wondering where I have been this week. The truth of the matter is, studying for finals! I've been so busy, getting music for fall tryouts, setting up pre-Band Camp lessons, taking all those stinkin' tests, but tomorrow, I'll be free! Took my final test in sixth hour. Not much to write though. Just the norm. Hung out with friends, sang, played the flute, ate, cleaned myself, slept, got tormented by Kenzie. The good news I did receive this week was that I will have NO classes… Continue

First off, happy Memorial Day! I know I haven't been on for several days, but that was because i wasn't sure what to write about next. But now i do (obviously). Today I saw the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. It was amazing, to no audience members surprise, and as it just came out this weekend, I don't feel keen to tell you anything about it. If you want to know what happens, find six dollars and a ride to your nearest movie theater. However, I will tell about a rather peculiar thought I… Continue

It's been a pretty normal week so far. Went back to school Monday, and everything was like it has always been. Except for two things. Corie Jo seems to have overcome her skirt and lip gloss phase and is back to hanging out with the guys and trying to get herself a real man. Some habits die hard, I suppose. And Bambi, doesn't like that girl anymore, apparently. and everyone else knows but me! I guess I can't be trusted, even though I have kept his secret! *Crosses arms.* Fine, see if I care.… Continue

So we went to Branson! We had a blast doing it and our concert went great! (photos up in a couple of days) Since I have so much to say, here is a detailed itinerary of what we did, what happened, and who did what. Yayness!!!
FRIDAY MORNING (CONCERT DAY!)
7:27 AM : We load our 2007 luxury bus with all of our stuff, and I mean all of our stuff, and we hop on. Cushioned seats, overhead TVs, killer surround sound, adjacent bathroom and these little adjustable foot rest thingy.… Continue

It's been an off the wall day. Scale tests, math tests, history tests, a gut-wrenching new Grey's Anatomy, another fight with my former best friend, and finding out that Scrubs is going for a seventh season. And all I can think about, is Branson. I've done up my t-shirt, proudly sporting the name McDiva. I've packed Itsy Bitsy Spider man in my carry on. I've frozen a couple green teas for the bus. And every things all set. I know I should talk about how sad Grey's Anatomy was, or how I did on… Continue

I suppose you are curious about the title I have chosen for tonight's blog entry. I have two good reasons.
One, is things are too depressing around here lately. Last minute testing, depressing movies about the civil war, which are good, until Matthew Broderick and Denzel Washington get shot in the face and die, and the not-so-good changes of preparation I've been talking about (See my previous entry for more details).
And two, is the title is actually derived from a song… Continue

Lately, I've noticed changes among my friends. It started out small, but then grew to the point where it began to worry me, like today. People are changing into what they will become in high school. The prep, the band kid, the emo, the order we once knew is slowly collapsing around us, preparing for a vital change in school life for all of us. It's frightening, in a way, but still exciting to think about. and everyone is asking themselves the same question. 'What am I turning into?' Not in a… Continue

It's funny what you can learn the second time around. Like when we went to see spidey today. I sat by Bambi because he really really wanted the popcorn. Here are some of the things I learned from him about the movie that I didn't notice last week.
-After Harry winks at Peter outside the cafe, Spidey and Green Goblin Jr. were gonna get it on! (Bambi's look of awe was as inspiring as it was terrifying.)
-Mary Jane is a lying, cheating, dancing whore.

So after reading the approved book lists, taking the tests on them, and sending them to the librarian, all thirteen of us went to Incredible Pizza in the city. For those of you who aren't familiar with Incredible Pizza, it's like Chucky Cheese but with better games, more focused on teens, and with worse food. Yeah. it was incredibly easy to get in, but the kids in my year are just to lazy to do it. Which, is a little stupid because you get out of school for the whole day and you get free games,… Continue

As you may or may not know, over the last few months, I have had one of the human bodies most disgusting features, and ingrown toenail, complete with blood, swelling and other oddities. I know, totally nasty, but very common, after one doctors visit, a run of antibiotics, and a lot of gaging along the way, i fanally had it removed today! The doctor took a needle and stuck it in me six times to numb it, then she kind of yanked it out. I'm very grateful I didn't see this because she had to yank… Continue

And indeed they will be for a long time. After what I did Monday, I'm not surprised. Sick and tired of Kenzie's jerky attitude towards me and others forced me to tell her we can't be friends anymore. Personally, maybe this is a good thing. I mean, should you have friends that hurt you constantly just because? So she went home early and had her mother call me again! I'm telling ya, if my mom did that, I would die! That's, like, a new level of pathetic. But I've heard what others think, and my… Continue

Spolier Alert!!! Do Not Read If You Don't Want To Know!!!
Yes, it's true! Spiderman is back and he truly is badder than ever. In the latest installment of the Spiderman series, Peter Parker must face three terrible villains, a proposal of massive importance, and his own feelings of evil in this stunning two and a half hour of pure ecstasy.
First off, the villains. There's the revenge seeking best-friend turned Green Goblin Jr., Harry, who starts… Continue

Yes! the day has finally arrived for us to strut our stuff and give a spectacular concert. It's tonight at 7:00, so we'll all be home in time for Grey's Anatomy. I have my uniform all ready (Black capris with a teal tunic top.) and know just how to do my hair, which is good because my hair can either be b-e-autiful of a tragedy. Seriously, it can be a pain.
More marching today. Nothing bad, but the real action happened at lunch. Frustrated by his still single status, I asked Bambi to… Continue

Happy May Day guys! I know I haven't written in forever, but I'll try for a brief catch-up the best I can manage. Sara's Confirmation went off without a hitch, she had a great time at her party. The Day of serving was good. My God Squad did two houses instead of one (cause we're cool like that) and we had heavy yard work and had to seal a deck. The most interesting thing that happened was, when I tried to load a branch into the trash collector's truck, I got stabbed in the thigh and arm with… Continue
