I was at the Northwest YouTube gathering in Portland this weekend, so I wasn't around to post a blog with videos. There were actually quite a few nerdfighters at the gathering, and lots of fun times were had. :)
Sorry about the youtube upload problems (since they aren't my fault, though: no punishment).
In which John respond to the comments of flamers, explains the difference between your and you're, and eviscerates those who think calling someone gay is an effective and/or interesting… Continue
Jennifer is still on vacation, so this week I'm going to feature DOUBLE the number of threads! WOO!
Featured: Vlogbrothers for Mr. Youtube!
I physically featured this thread back on Wednesday, but that's because I didn't want to wait for it to get more exposure. The nerdfighters are definitely not as numerous as some of the other big names, and Shane Dawson (is that his name?) seems to be WAY… Continue
EDIT: THE CREATORS HAVE TEMPORARILY TAKEN DOWN THE VIDEOS IN ORDER TO AVOID COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. They will soon put them back up. Thank you for you time.
I don't know how many of you have heard about this, but no matter what, it's not enough. This is just... the most brilliant thing I've ever seen. This is a thing of beauty. Mugglenet mentioned it on their website, and I feel the Harry Potter nerdfighters NEED to be told about this.
Le Feature: Retweeting Iran
There's a tweeter on twitter who thought of having their followers change their location/time zone to Iran and retweet all their tweets in order to help spread the news and fight the censors. I don't use twitter, but that is a damn good idea.
I finished my exams, and now I'm free at last! (At least for a month and a half or so, after which I'll have to start studying for the exams I'll have to retake.) But anyway, again it's been two weeks since I blogged about pictures, so without further ado:

After the attack by the rogue Romulan mining ship captain, Nero, destroyed the Vulcan home world, the few remaining survivors found themselves directionless and disenfranchised. In the course of a day, a once intergalactic superpower was reduced to a small handful of nomads. Some wondered whether this would be the end of the race altogether. But the Vulcans are a resilient people, and not to be underestimated. With no world, or, indeed, even a nation to speak of, the refugees banned together… Continue
Emily (imperfectcadences) wrote a fabulous song entitled "Nerd(fighter) Boy." Check it out, and go leave her comments!
(This was featured a little while back, but I don't think it got as much attention as it should have. So here it is again, in case you missed it the first time… Continue

I never saw a reflection more true,
before the day I saw myself in you,
a love, separated by miles of sea,
call it long-distance
but we call it a new… Continue

Featured Thread: The Reason for WorldSuck
Where did WorldSuck come from? What is the root? Some say greed, some say original sin, but why does the world suck so much sometimes? And how do we fix it?
In my last video I asked viewers to vote on what song they wanted to hear today - one about Disney, one about zombies or one about Dr Who. It was close, but zombies clinched it by one vote. So here is my first original song (to be uploaded to the internet - I had written a few before this one). Enjoy! (lyrics and chords can be found on the YouTube page - click the video twice)
The first DFTBA Records Street Team mission ends tomorrow night. The mission was to recruit as many new Street Team members as you could. You recruit new members by placing a personalized widget on your blog, myspace page, website, etc.
Early on, Amber (TheAmberyOne) joined the mission and embedded her widget in her nerdfighters.com blog. That blog post was later featured on the front page of… Continue
