Shot Guns and Blaster Bolts

So here's the thing. There are nerdfighters out there who were not at all happy with the "shot gun noise" ending to Vlogbrothers, and I've got some things to say about that. So let us begin.

The need is constant. The gratification is instant. Give blood.

Dear Nerdfighters,

About one month ago I gave blood for the first time at the age of 16. It was not painful, the people were nice, and it was really rewarding to know I helped save lives by lying down for ten minutes. Although I plan to go give again on November 7, when I’m once again eligible, I can’t give all the 39,000 units of blood needed daily to keep thousands of people alive, who truly need it.
