I am stressed. I have a paper to finish and I've hit a wall. This is worse than that one time I wrote five pages of a paper only to realize that my thesis was wrong. I'm taking advice from Hayley G Hoover. In one of her videos she mentioned that when you hit a wall it's best to write something completely different, so here I am. Instead of writing the damn paper I'm writing about the damn paper.

Not that anyone reads my blog but I really like the idea of sending my thought out…

Evolution

So, I am a Christian. I believe in God and worship him. I know that the Bible says God created humans which makes Christians not believe in Evolution. I understand the evidence behind Evolution and Creation. Also, if u notice they either believe in Creation, Evolution, or whatever their religion believes in, but I haven't heard anyone say this maybe God created stuff to Evolve. I have learned about some Creation myths and I know one said that the creator gave the animals the power to change…

Masochism

I don't know why, but I've insisted on listening to Aerosmith for the past few minutes, which is never a good idea. Generally, of course, listening to a band whose music one enjoys is a good thing, but the associations are much too painful in this case. Why I insisted on listening to our songs is a mystery to me. I wasn't even feeling nostalgic... at least, any more nostalgic than I have been lately.

My sole long-term relationship lasted a year and four months, but to someone in high…

Can Nerds Be Decepticons? - The Wrong Kind of Nerd

I'm begging everyone who is poised to start accusing me of betrayal (which I might very well deserve) to here me out.

This post has been in my head since near when I first began watching the vlogbrothers and was brought to light about a month ago by an unfortunate experience I had.

For Halloween, me and my best friend decided to be Jesse and James (Team Rocket) from Pokemon. With assistance of my lovely seamstress mother, we where decked out in white vinyl on the friday… Continue

Help Create a Funny Fantasy WebSeries

Hey Folks,

I'm producing a new Fantasy/Comedy web series - in many ways it's similar to the Guild, and in other ways it stands completely in it's own league.

Please check out the video below to learn more about the project, and see some clips from a previous web series, we're spinning off of.

I don't know what to do with myself lately.

I technically have no time on my hands, but I seem to make it all the time. I'm entirely useless in social situations and all I can think of doing is writing, applying to college, school, and making China dolls. I don't even have a kiln or any form of something resembling experience with these sorts of things, but I want to make the dolls quite desperately.…

Whose in your hug bucket?

A while ago there a vlogbrothers video that mentioned the hugbucket, which is like a bucket list, only it is a list of people you want to hug before you die. Now, I'm not usually much of a hugger, however, there are a few people even I would like to wrap my arms around. Here is my hugbucket list, whose on yours?

1. Matt Smith (the eleventh doctor from Doctor Who)

2. Tom Milsom

3. Charlie Mcdonnell

4. A minipig (they are adorable! Is the list limited to…

Self Injury

I've been thinking...

A lot of people here are more understanding than most about self-injury than the common person, but some people still just don't understand, and make hurtful comments about it. And that bothers me.

You see, self injury is an addiction. It is no more "crazy" than smoking or drinking. It can even cause withdrawal symptoms when a person tries to stop self-injuring. The first time it happens they believe they can stop. It may even be an…

Day 310: Song Tuesday #31

Today's Song Tuesday comes from the album This Machine Pwns N00bs.

VERSE:
Oh, boys and girls it's that time of year again.
It's time to show off all our generosity to our friends.
We've been waiting for 364
Days in which we've been real good and done all of our chores.
But I think that it's important that we think of those out there.
To whom we do not give presents even though we really…

Book Recommendations?

I have been reading so much lately that I have completely completed my list of books to read. I really need some awesome books to read and none of my friends have had any recommendations that I haven't already read. I call upon you, the nerd-tastic amazing people to recommend books for me to read.

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens - December's book club selection

Hello booklings :) Welcome to another Tuesday book post! I sort of struggled to think of what to write for today and in the end, I think this post will come to you in three parts.

Part the first: Classics.

First, how many of you love reading classic literature? I do. But since I've been out of formal education for many years, I find the time I devote to reading the classics shrinks every year. Which is why a few years ago, I started… Continue
