Hello Nerdfighters, Happy New Year.

I like that New Year's Eve is a secular holiday, because it gives it more of a universal purpose. It is not defined by religious belief or geographical location, or age or race or lifestyle. The celebration is defined by the people who celebrate it and the locations in which it takes place. I stayed up until late last night (morning?). The time on the clock when I shut off my light was 4:04. And I thought 'This time zone doesn't exist.'

I actually have plans this year instead of just kind of sleeping the night away. I am going to eat Mexican food with a bunch of my friends and then going to head over to Ty's where we shall chillax and do things such as play video games and talk. We shall do much more than that, but I think you guys can imagine what happens when you get a bunch of college kids together.

I've been planning it for four years, when I found out such a thing was even possible, but I put it off.  The line must be drawn here--this far, no further!  I will break away from the blogosphere's gravity and reach the vastness of vlogs.  I kind of feel like I'm starting my own nations space program with this jump, because even though I'll be doing the same thing I've always done with a blog, this will be my undiscovered voyage.

I'm glad this one is finally over. It's gone downhill consistently since January 1, 2010. The entirety of today will be spent thinking of both resolutions and (thanks to a blog post here) anti-resolutions for 2011. I'm sure that the 1st will be filled with lots of Nerdfighter's resolutions, so i'll look forward to seeing what people want to change throughout the year.

                  Since I can never seem to do the things I promise to do every January first, I have decided to this year promise to NOT do things. I shall call this the Anti-resolution (I realize resolving to not do things is still making a resolution, but using the term "Anti-resolution" allows for a nice distinction).
