Ok, im going to try to write a real blog now. It will be my first real one ever! Woop!
So, these blogs, (if i like doing it), are probally going to be about random things. For example, all day today ive been in a very art making state of mind. I watched The Science of Sleep like three times today. It's one of my favorite movies ever. It's one of those ones that you have to watch multiple times to get it. The third time i watched it, i put on some of my indie rock and turned the volume… Continue

I told myself I was going to go to bed an hour ago since I had a terrible sleep last night. Obviously that didn't happen.
Today was Superball. What is Superball, you ask? It's a basketball tounament that my school always seems to host. To show our school spirit, teachers can choose to let their classes go to the gym and watch our teams play instead of actually doing work. We -- and by we, I mean our school teams, because I could never be a… Continue

Lyrics to one of my favorite songs. :o)
These were written by Peter Mills. He's awesome!
Christmas makes the whole world warmer
Everyone has felt that cozy glow
When families gather near
To share the festive cheer
Or sweethearts kiss beneath the… Continue

I can't stop watching Buffy. I can't help it. My sister gave me the entire series on DVD, which makes it 144+ hours of good times. I'm about halfway through season five and I can't stop. Stupid Joss Whedon type goodness. Plus, I'm stressed out in the school arena. Being a senior is not simple because everyone expects you to care. News flash: my goal for the immediate future is to get as far away from some of these authority figures as I can. Having been vote "Biggest Bookworm" by my senior… Continue

So, previously when I said that I never knew I would be so proud to be made of awesome I meant it. However, as I have come to realize my attachment to nerdfighting (going on this website) I lose more and more time where I should be doing homework, studying, doing chores, all those things that I don't really want to do, but I have to. So, is nerdfighting and procrastinating in conflict with eachother? It seems to me as though nerdfighting sounds like it should be about doing something, and here… Continue

So I've had myriad issues with the end of this break and where I'll be staying/how I'll be getting back to Walla Walla. For some background, I fly to Seattle from Vegas and drive to Walla Walla because it's a LOT cheaper to go through a major airport and drive than to fly into Walla Walla.
Option 1: Staying at Kern's house. He was my best friend a year ago. "Was" is the key word, though. When he started dating Lauren, I knew she didn't like me, and I could tell there would be problems.… Continue

I really don't like the majority of my friends. How horrid is that? I know its mad grimey. here i go with the most overused teenage statement:they dont understand me. I am a bit more advanced than most highschoolers in some aspects of life, mainly my views on "love" and just over all maturity I hate when my friends do stupid shit. People wonder why i keep to myself so much well its because I don't want to associate with my peers. As all things do, it has come back to kick me in the ass. I… Continue

From my friend Amy:
The first article title on the page is the name of your band.
The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.
The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
You then take the pic and… Continue

Brings to mind the Knights who go Neep! -- Perhaps the nerdfighters will no longer go, "Hoo Haa" and begin going "Ning".
This new space is super! A spot where we can set up our profiles and communicate with one another is perfect. After using YouTube as a chat room in the past weeks, our own chat room is really perfect.
Hank, I'm assuming you set this up; you've done a great job.
I am looking forward to 2008 and what the Nerdfighters (possibly who go "Ning!")… Continue

Yesterday, I became approximately one-quarter adult in the eyes of the United States government--I registered to vote. I'm not yet eighteen but will be before the 2008 general elections, which means that, in Indiana, I can vote in the primaries and (potentially) for the future President of the U.S. while I am still a minor. Where did I learn of this strange and exciting phenomenon? From a crazy old man, of course.
So now that I've turned in the paperwork, I have to face the big… Continue

On the way home from school today, I was attempting to not hear the driver arguing with her son. Then I realized, "Haven't I had arguements like this with my dad? And they have gone just like this?"
All that got me to thinking, what's up with the last wave of Baby Boomers? Why do they have shorter tempers? Is there a reason for their habit of accusing mental disorder upon others? The OCD excuses/need for perfection? How about the… Continue

ok, so I have my first gymnastics meet of the season tomorrow and I'm really, really nervous. If you could see me now (which obviously you can't) I'm literally sitting here shaking. And beam is the event I am least nervous for. That like never happens! I'm the most scared for floor, because I usually over-rotate (aka land on my head) on my first tumbling pass, so I always use a sting mat when I do that pass. Except I'm going to a meet... and I can't use a sting mat. And this is going to be in a… Continue

As I type this, I watch Josh, my husband of soon to be ten years, playing outside with our two children. God, I love to listen to them laugh together.
I first met Josh after an E-Harmony date went horribly wrong. I signed… Continue

Wow. My week has been given a theme
Well. On the subject of SAD. (LAWL. At least that
made me laugh) It might just be because I asked for a book about psychology a while back and just started reading it again... But my counselor says it could also be for real. I've been feeling depressed lately. Not for any reason, really. Just... Bummed, randomly. I'm noticing that bad things that happen more than the good things and I feel kinda... Crappy. So I looked in my… Continue

We are all insignigigent specks in the time line of the universe. We will probalbly kill our own species, not to menchen planet, off before we become more than a milli-scond on the time stream of the univers. Now considering all this, it probably wont matter if I don't post ever agen. It also wont matter if this is spelled correctly or highly polished. Neather of which you should expect, EVER. I write the way I think, NOT the conventual way prose are suppost to be. I will try to spell my best… Continue

Krystal says that i have an inner nerd, but that i have'nt loved and appriciated it. She told me i should write a blog, i did'nt argue. She figured this could be my guilty pleasure, and i did'nt deny. Although, i did argue the fact that maybe i'm not quite nerdy enough to truely be a nerdfighter. So this is why i write about my inner nerd. It's lost somewhere deep inside my lasagna innards. I guess being a nerd is defined by your hobbies? or your likes? I like taking pictures...i like to… Continue
