This months song July (Take it Down)

I usually try to write pretty happy go lucky music, However do to recent tragic events I wanted to say some things about the uncomfortable topic of racism in America. It is my hope that by having this conversation we can make some desperately needed progress. Thanks for listening.

Attention Atheists and Christians: Read.

Let's get one thing clear. I'm a full fletched  Atheist, agnostic/Atheist that is. I cannot claim that I know for certain that there isn't a God, but I lean towards the idea that no, there isn't. I can see the arguments people make in favour of God, I can see the supposed evidence, but again it is my own opinion that there is no solid argument in the case of god/gods/whatever. One thing that annoys the hell of out me, although, is this superiority complex both sides seem to…

Bachelor thesis on Nerdfighteria (Questionnaire)

Hello!

I'm a student at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Right now I'm in the process of writing my Bachelor thesis in Global Studies, and have chosen the subject of Nerdfighteria. More specifically the purpose of my study is to examine ideas among Nerdfighters about things like society, morals and action for positive change.

The material for the essay will be a selection of the answers to a questionnaire and six depth interviews with different Nerdfighters…

Tam does life

Outside of the internet, I'm by trade a photographer. I work landscapes, sunrises and the likes mostly, outside of forestscapes or your general nature tom-foolishness. The video above is from a year or so back now, I wasn't able to get many photographs that day so I nabbed a wee video instead, hope you enjoy!

Stranger Than Fiction

I have never been a big fan of reality shows, both as a writer and as a human being with a loving soul, but lately I have found myself becoming more and more worried by the trends I see on the commercials advertising some of these shows. So I did some investigations to find out a very terrible truth of reality TV, they are getting more extreme, bizarre, and terrible. (I am going to emphasize bizarre,…

January Blurbing Book Club - Maggot Moon by Sally Gardner

Hello and welcome to the return of the Blurbing Book Club! I hope to continue with the book club throughout 2015. For my first choice, during the month of January, I would love it if we would all read Maggot Moon by Sally Gardner.

This book won lots of awards and was published a few years ago. It's a kind of alternate-history, science-fiction, dystopian read.  Apparently it's a little hard to categorise but what really appeals to me about this book is the original voice of the…
