Gambon really is a marvelous actor, like a chameleon, really, he can adapt to any role. At first he was a foul old man, and by the end he had gone through all of the personalities known to man. Bravo!

I can honestly say I did not see that coming but I didn't expect…

During the Bangladesh War of Liberation which killed over 3 million people, the Buddhist Venerable setup an orphanage for children who lost parents during the war.

Tell us your favourite book you've read in 2010!

It's that time of year! 2010 is very nearly finished, so everyone starts talking about the BEST books they've read all year. I've listed some of mine and separated them between books that have been published DURING 2010 and then also included some books that I've only READ for the first time this year. Please, please do share your own favourites in comments or feel free to write your own blog post about it and share the link in comments. If there's already a forum thread about this that I'm not… Continue

Where as the time gone?

I guess the saying is true the older you get the more time seems to fly. I was just contiplating today abotu 2010 and I started to realize that this year is almost over. We are already in December Nerdfighters and 2011 is just around the corner. Many things have happened this year with America and our own personal lives. For one thing the economy which seemed to be getting better is heading downward again, and it may get hard for the next couple of years. It may get fixed or it may get worse…

2010 - The Fifty Book Challenge.

With a new year comes a new challenge!

I, Katie, will be reading fifty books in the year 2010. (I wanted to make it more, but with me going to college this year, I thought I'd lighten the load.)

Since I am reading less books than I wanted, I thought I'd make this challenge a little more interesting.

I. Want. To. Vlog.

I do not make New Year resolutions, but I would like to make more videos. So I am going to try to make videos about the books that I read…

Oktoberfest 2010 video entry!

Nerdfighteria: now with more beer, musical numbers, Venn diagrams and self-effacing melodrama!

The song featured in this video is a parody of "Scarborough Fair" performed by my brother and I, who are currently living about 7183 kilometers (over 4000 miles) away from each other. Neither of us has recording equipment, and my brother doesn't even have a computer at the moment. I don't know what's more gratifying - the fact that it turned out so well despite our… Continue

Hey, Nerdfighters.
