It's been far too long since I made a blog post and I do apolgize about that. I won't go into detail as to why because you know what? We have far more important business to talk about and that is PROJECT FOR AWESOME! (Yes, I totally wrote that in all caps to bring the attention to those words. I also didn't prepare this post so let's see how this goes.)

Today, a three year old high school philosophy club and several years old book club that I ran last year as a senior, with a couple dozen members total, has lost administration support for content and a faculty sponsor.

Really? Does education really have to go that far? I understand if the teacher sponsor is busy and needs to step out because of a more important reason, but administration not looking for another faculty sponsor and disappointing a diversity of STUDENTS that all love…

One thing I have noticed when it comes to Nerdfighters is that, as a community we are well connected to one another. Problem is that the site itself is the main way people stay in contact. So when something happens for example the Ning deciding they want to work on maintenance when it is most inconvenient for the rest of us, that contact shuts down. Well I have to say, after the first couple days of being a nerdfighter, it's great, no, AWESOME!

Had no idea what to do at first, but now i'm about to start a collab.vlog with six other (sure to be AWESOME) girls, had an itense convo (about gays, KKK and riots in London...) and when I left, I thought I shouldn't have bothered saying goodbye. Recently I've been trying to find songs that represent my friends...the task is almost completely  impossible! At some point I was like "Why don't I write a song about them?!" I tried this, but it took too long. So then I figured what if I have my friends help me write a song, because then it would really represent all of us! So there is a Nerdfighter trying to do some awesome right now!She made a video for ALS. If you don't know what that is, it is explained in the video. Basically she needs your help to raise money for ALS patients. What she wanted to do was get 100 subscribers by January 19th, 2012 [her birthday] and ask that everyone of those 100 subscribers to donate two U.S. dollars to the cure for ALS.
