What Do Book Clubs Do for You?

Today, a three year old high school philosophy club and several years old book club that I ran last year as a senior, with a couple dozen members total, has lost administration support for content and a faculty sponsor.

OMC, a Blog!!

Wow, I epically fail. For a reason I am unaware of , I didn't know this was here! I LOVE BLOGS!!! ={D <-- That guy totally has a mustache!!! Um... BOOKS!! Blurbing Book Club

I read Slaughterhouse 5 my senior year of high school, and it was amazing. Going through everyone's blurbs made me remember how much fun I had reading it and how happy it made me feel. I have only had the chance (time) to read another Kurt Vonnegut books and that is the Sirens of Titan which is another good books. I didn't enjoy it as much as SH5 but if you enjoyed that book, check out SoT because some characters make a suprising return. Thanks for choosing such an awesome book guys!

That would be impossible, when im talking about this book!!

I read it about a year ago and loved the plot!!! it combined my two favorite things in books, cute, geeky teen romance (its a good geeky) and different cultures =]

A worm of Robins

You wouldn't believe how nice out it was today. A worm of Robins (that is one awesome collective noun by the way) were hopping all over this meadow I walk through to get to school. Ahzrei and the Book Club Ep.1

So, I read 13 Little Blue Envelopes, and much to my surprise, I actually liked it. I felt kind of possessed, reading the book until I finished it and carrying myself into the next morning without any sleep. It's kind of weird seeing the sun come up and thinking "Oh god, I should get to sleep."

13 Little Blue Envelopes Blurbing Book Club

I just finished the book and thought it was excellent. I found the dreaded one typo, and I also found...Hank's name. To anyone who enjoyed this book, I would recommend the book Betsy and the Great World by Maud Hart Lovelace. It's also about a girl traveling through Europe, being in love, finding stuff out... only it takes place in the early 1900s and is based on a true story.
