I Dreamt I Danced In Serenity

I dreamt I stood in a field of grass, the breeze danced gently upon my face and played with strands of my hair.

I was looking towards the west, the field of grass extended all the way to a line of trees, and through the trees i could see the glimmer of sunset on water. I looked behind me and saw grassy hills that gave way to sharp rocky formations which extended both ways around to meet far behind the trees and…

The Monster I've Created

*I warn you now this is not a pretty tale, it has no happy ending, not yet at least. Read it if you can, for I doubt you will get very far. Stories of darkness never are very fun to read, and aren’t very popular either, but nonetheless they happen.

It’s going to be another sleepless night I…

Autoflushmatoilaphobia

Autoflushmatoilaphobia (ah-toe-flush-mah-toy-lah-foe-bee-uh)

Automatic flushing toilets. Yep, that’s what this is :

What if you had a phobia of automatic flushing toilets? I have always wondered that. See automatic flushing toilets (auto-pottys) are starting to appear everywhere. In malls, grocery stores, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, TARGET! Restaurants, Disney World and even BEACHES!!!  Someday soon they will…

My Take: Make Today The Day That Someday Was Supposed To Be

*These are some quotes and sayings I coined, if you like any please feel free to use them, but remember to give credit where credit is due. :)

1.  The stage is my home, dedication is how I pay my bills, actors are kin audience are the guests. Performance is the dish I serve, applause the complements to the cooks.

2.  Life isn’t like a highway, its like a dirt road. It can get pretty bumpy. Some days you can see…

Multiple Mini Pieces

*I wrote these way back in like 2006 so you can compare my writing from then to my writing now. Since this stuff is kinda old it isn’t very good, but I wanted to give you guys insight on how much I have improved.

Road Trip:

Lets take a road trip. A road trip to nowhere. And when we finally get there, we’ll be there. And when we find out…

The Hope of Winter

I want to write of something positive but there is no inspiration,

The ground is covered in cold dead snow,

   The trees retreated into themselves.

There are no flowers that bloom now,

No birds to sing of spring,

The sun seems distant, cold, and shrouded.

Winter is a silent sound,

   One that hurts your ears,

   Its sharp and shrill,

   Yet muffled and…

Christmas

*This is by far the most favorite note I have ever wrote, and one of my best pieces in my opinion. It has so much meaning, and fairly good imagry.

The bitter cold air nipped at the tip of my nose as I stared fixedly at the golden glowing lights, waiting arms out for the platter of homemade fudge mum was going to hand me. In my anxious anticipation I stamp my feet impatiently, longing for the warmth and familiar setting of the house beyond.

“Now, be careful Emily,” my… Continue

Heart's Desire

*see if you can read this the entire way through and if you can answer the questions I have at the bottom, who can guess question number one?

I look at you, and think, well that could be me. I ache to have what you do, I’ve searched high and low, far and near, in the dark and in the light. Through forest and desert, hill and vale, mountain and grassland, I’ve searched the deepest oceans and in the darkest caves, I’ve looked in the sweetest meadows and in all the…

Avalon

Nose to nose they drew their swords

Turned and faced the corrupt lords.

For on the dart poisoned true

There fell the maid who’s heart turned blue,

And on that day a cry went on

 About the maid in Avalon.

Fair the maid and true the sword

That struck upon the fairy lord.

And since the King was far away

It became once more a gruesome day.

For on the cold hard cobble…

Florida and Montana, USA

Hey Florida

Its Montana

I guess its been a while

I miss you like crazy

I’ve been sad lately.

The distance between us

Is too far for a train

Besides its gonna rain.

You ask me if I’m fine

And I reply, most of the time

But usually that’s a lie,

Because I’m Montana

And you’re Florida

All I seem to think about is sunshine

You say my rainbows rock this world

But I think your city is oh so…

A Tale From Our Imaginations: Part 1

*Well, here it is. A story for all my peeps. Especially my Partners In Crime, and my Partners in Spy. (you know who you are)

——-ENJOY!!!

Running down the dark hallway, breathing heavy and straining my ears for the slightest sound, I paused, listening hard. There. I heard it. The sound I had been dreading, nonetheless expecting: the sharp click of a heel on pavement. I began silently running again. She mustn’t catch me. Not now. Not…

Memory Lane: Summer Flings and Nasty Bee Stings

*Again I wrote this on my way to Missoula this summer….. I had lots of time… this was closer to home..

The closer I’m getting to my home, the more excited I become. Even the fact that I’ve lost my favorite chap stick cant dampen my excitement, the misty rain won’t even get to me. My euphoria is too much, but to let it out could be dangerous. Ah to see real mountains again, to see clear cold, flowing water. To be with the only one who knows me truly. Maybe even to…

The Call

*I wrote this on the way to Missoula this summer.. it was kind of phenomenal because most of my friends know I don’t really like Glendive much and at this point in time it called to me… hence The Call

The mist upon the landscape reminds me of old tales of Ireland. It brings out the green in the rolling hills, it brings bliss to your mind as you traipse through the Irish-like landscape. It has become more beautiful to me as I leave this ethereal…

Dear Sunrise ~ Sincerely Window Flower

Dear Sunrise,

i stayed up all night for fear of something dark entering my dreams. since you left my world's been utterly dark. i don't know how long i can take this nightmare, please come ease my soul, it aches for you, it aches for peace. what i wouldn't give to stop aching and fall into blissful, peaceful sleep.

but the rain wont stop pouring on my window pane. my stomache knots for fear of what awaits in my slumber. it lurks in the dark…
