The Nerdfighters site recently reached the 90,000 milestone for registered accounts which is huge. Oddly the most recent 10,000 accounts were created within a year compared to the previous ten. I am pretty stoked that the site is getting bigger all the time, as the Green Bros’ following is getting bigger all the time. Last night, in the wee hours of the night (12:00, because i'm tough like that) i read "Daddy" by Sylvia Plath. talk about intense, eh? i highly recommend reading it once and daring in the thought. 

my questions:

does she hate her father?

does she love her father?

why compare him to this cult of people?

could we today, ever understand this feeling? in this little world where no ones starves, troubles…

I just bought the The Fault In Our Stars audiobook today. The woman reading, Kate Rudd, is a surprisingly good voice actress for Hazel. At first I didn't think she could ever match the amazingness that is John reading it but then in the bit when she meets Kaitlin at the mall she does a really good imitation of her slightly British accent. I love the way her voice changes ever so slightly for different characters. 

I am, in fact, listening to the audiobook right now as i'm writing…

That would be so cool to be able to read four hundred pages a day.  But I don’t think I’d keep much from it.  It’s taken me four days to get 110 pages of this book.  If I’d simply read it, I’d have gotten it finished day 1, and moved on to either the C.S. Lewis book I’ve got or Paper Towns.  But then I’d have missed out on all the thinking I’ve been doing, and that would have been a shame.  Also I need to become a Star Trek fan.  It’s on my bucket list.  Along with Doctor Who.  And a bunch…

            Hahaha.  “Authors never included the whole story; they just got to the point.”  It’s true.  They have to.  The whole story would take forever to tell, and would be full with pointless information that doesn’t help further the story.  The problem is, you can always tell when a character likes another character, because the author emphasizes certain hints the characters give. In real life it isn’t that simple; everyone gives those “hints” mixed with the exact opposite signals, and…

            I never knew Franz Ferdinand married for love.  Sounds beautiful.  Sounds like life was pretty good for Franz and Sophie.  Sounds like he got what he wanted out of his life.  A hole in your middle is nothing when you’ve got love.  But when the hole in your middle is lack of love, then you’ve got a problem.
