*Please note, this entry contains mild spoilers from the movie Midnight in Paris. So, if you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend that you do :).
I recently watched the Woody Allen film Midnight in Paris. It's the kind of movie I could watch over and over and still experience it again for the first time. The main character, Gil, played by Owen Wilson, reminded me quite a lot of myself. He wants to be a writer, loves the…
It starts out with a young boy in the hospital, he gets away from his parents and enters a room where an elderly man dies in front of his eyes. The nurse, who doesn't notice him, reads the note the man has written, sheds a tear, and walks out.The movie is about his life. The young boy grows up, and various songs of Hank's play, from "Looking for Alaska" to "Dead boy's Girlfriend" (not in that order, sadly enough). He goes through childhood, the teen years, adulthood, though a…
This week at my school I'm having my spring concert. Yesterday we did a dress rehersal in school for the students and tonigt we're having the concert for our parents. It's a band anad choral concert. I play the flute in 7th grade band however i can't sing for my life. Seriously, I sound like a dying cat getting trampled by a horse. I am on setup crew for setting up for various band groups. I am only in this crew because my band teacher hates me and if I didn't do setup, I would be failing band.… Continue

As you probably don't know, I love Harry Potter! The books have been with me throughout by childhood and, by extension, most of my life. The movies may not have always been brilliant, but they have accompanied
that. And so, it is with a bittersweet feeling inside, that I went to
watch "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow, part one" this Friday.…
So, I've just started re-reading Paper Towns and I'm up to the bit where Margo and Q are in the SunTrust building. Anyway a Scott Pilgrim trailer comes on (btw looks awesome, Ramona is my wallpaper) and I look at the girl that's playing Ramona and think, that's almost exactly how I picture Margo. So, I'm thinking she should play Margo in the film. I also decided to do a quick edit and would like to see what other people think of her as Margo. ^^…
I’ve always been sort of a movie buff, but I never thought it would go any further than that. I was introduced to this site that lets you go behind the scenes and help to create a movie. Since I’ve been signed up, I’ve been having a blast and thought I’d share my experience.
My parents knew that I liked movies and wanted to think of a gift that was different from the usual gift cards and snowboarding gear. They heard about this website that not only teaches you about the movie making…
At the end of the movie, why can't Sandra Bullok and Keanu Reeves look at each other and go, "Phew, I'm glad we made it through that! My fiancee was probably really worried about me. Hey new friend we should have lunch next week and see how we're doing. And you definitely have to make it to the wedding." Then shake hands and wander off in their own directions.

I just picked up Harry Potter and the half-blood prince on bluray, and I've got to say, it's pretty amazing. I watched the film at the theater a couple times, but it's equally exciting to watch the wizarding world wage war in high definition and surround sound. I was most excited about the footage of the next film, but it turned out to be a poor teaser trailer with very little substantial footage.
Speaking of epic movies, if you haven't seen Avatar, I suggest you go see it. If… Continue

My first Nerdfighters response to one of Hank's videos, but somebody only gave me ONE STAR as a rating. TT____TT
Man, the internet can be so cruel. But I believe my view on the Star Trek movie is valid, I liked the movie a lot and I haven't seen many opinions of the movie as Vlogs yet, but my one star rating could have been a result of people who hated the movie. I don't really know.
Anyway, go see it as soon as you can. It… Continue

(I am really against swearing. I rather resent it in fact. I doesn't keep me from swearing right now though. Just be happy I'm not writing down what I'm swearing)

Day I've been awaiting for ages. Me and my friends (including my beloved sister Director Danny) are going to watch the Twilight Movie. I'm not a huge fangirl, I actually don't view Twilight as that of a brilliant book at all. But,… Continue
I have figured out my biggest problems with the Twilight movie. So first I'm going to go into my original rant and fine tune it a little bit, and then I'm going to go into my new problems with this whole thing.
FIRST: The Rant
Okay. I feel like they're going to Blood and Chocolate the movie, which if you've read that book and then seen the movie you'd understand. When I read the movie description it said that Laurent and James were the mortal enemies of the Cullen's. Which… Continue
Okay, so I was inspired by Deans movie quotes, um, thingamajigs and decided to do a blog a about the movies of the gods. Now M.O.T.G. is a heading that only the most incredible of films falls under i.e. Monty Python and The Holy Grail or Out Of Africa. I have always wondered about the criteria for such a title and am now going to draw up a list of the qualities of an M.O.T.G.. Okay, breath in and out... BEGIN!
