My torment when it comes to Donna Noble...
I find it horribly depressing in every single way the way that Donna has to go.
For the first time in her life, she was more than "just a temp from Chiswick" she was the "best temp in Chiswick" finally. For that split second, she was Donna Noble, savior of worlds whose name would be immortalized in songs and stories for generations to come. However, just as she realizes her impact on society and how she has always been more important, more intelligent than she thought, that…

Doctor Who is Brilliant!
For those of you who do not know, (Which seems like a ridiculous notion considering where we are, but just go with it) Doctor Who is a British sci-fi show about an alien from the race of the Time Lords of the planet of Gallifrey. This Time Lord, goes by the name 'The Doctor', travels the galaxy in a 'spaceship' (I put in quotations because it does not only travel through space, but also time) called the T.A.R.D.I.S. (Time and Relative Dimensions in Space). He always travels…

Okay, Doctor Who is tight
About three things I was absolutely positive.
First, the Doctor was a Time Lord.
Second, there was part of him — and I didn't know how potent that part might be — that thirsted for my company.
And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.…

Chart sort of thing why I think Dumbledore is really similar to The Doctor
Why Dumbledore is similar to The Doctor. I don't know if this is something people post on here regularly.

Enjoying Chameleon Circuit without liking Doctor Who?
Here´s a little story for you to - hopefully - enjoy.
I was painting a room with my new flatmate and I put on music from Chameleon Circuit because she heard me making a joke about "Mr. Pond" earlier and she wanted to hear the song. So we paint and talk and listen to Chameleon Circuit and she seemed to enjoy it. At one point "Count the Shadows" comes on and I´m like: "Whoa, that song is about one of my favourite episodes! You know there is this planet that is library and in…

Giggin' with the GuiTARDIS
First off, to any UMass Nerdfighters out there, a big thank you from the bottom of both my hearts for your excellent welcome and your kind feedback. Thanks are specifically due to my lover, Missy, who steadfastly hung in there for me and videoed my performance, and the Game Hobbyists' League, who put it on- quite specifically, the members on duty on the last day of the con, who let me do my thing while herding gamers around. Not an easy task.
It went fairly well, though I…

Dr. Josh and the GuiTARDIS
When I went to ConBust this year, I had something of a silly idea. I decided I would put a homemade TARDIS decal on my blue guitar, accessorize with a bow tie, and cosplay as Dr. Josh and the GuiTARDIS. I expected the pun to cause some head-slaps, maybe some groans and possibly a squee here and there, but I did not expect anything anywhere near the response I got.
People seemed to enjoy the concept. I saw some major…

Yesterday I was watching Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. It a brilliant movie and I know it’s based off the book but it was still really great. There was a seine were he’s wearing a gas mask and I burst out, "ARE YOU MY MUMMY!?", then I doubled over by the fact of how creepy it was. Besides that it was a really good movie and I recommend it to the few others who stumble upon this post.
In other news I went to Sky high which is a place devoted to everything and anything…

Regarding a contest. Also, top hats.
Well hello there, internet dwellers.
I am participating in a contest that will let me win a splendiferous top hat and I would appreciate your help in winning it :) I need to get as many favourites as possible. I figured that nobody would appreciate my top hat design as much as you wonderful, nerdfightery people :)

Who is Doctor Who?
(In accordance with the nerd rule #12 this is to warn you that this blog may contain light spoilers--but not really--about the Doctor Who episodes: Human Nature, The Family of Blood, Journey's End, The Water of Mars, The End of Time, Hungry Earth, and The Pandorica Opens)
Tonight, in preparation for an internet/cable upgrade in the morning, my sister and I were trying to transform our room from "death trap" to "quick, hide that under the pillow." As per normal, this event…

I think
My room has so many posters in it that I actually have no room for my new Sherlock quotes. I have some AVPM and AVPS stuff here and there, a half wall sized Doctor Who poster along with about 10 more, Hunger Games, Back to The Future, Red Dwarf, Pirates of The Caribbean and Harry Freakin Potter...it doesn't sound like much, but I seriously have no room on my walls. I'm thinking of moving to the ceiling. Either that or I'll have to use TimeLord science...but that has proven difficult despite…

I don't get it. How can three Tv shows that aren't really that good BEAT Doctor Who for most popular sci fi show? HOW!?!?
As you can see, I'm a really big Doctor Who fan. If you take away my Doctor Who, you die.
How can Fringe beat Doctor Who? I don't know. Fringe is a show you have to watch from the very first episode of the very first season, and that sucks. You can't ask some one "What does that mean?" because when they do, they'll just have to keep explaining stuff.
How…

Hello nerdfighters
As I try to immerse myself into the ning, I can't help but notice that even here, there are people shamelessly crying for attention, help and you know, just to be noticed. I am no differnt.
I as an artist and musician, this need goes deeper for me. It's not that I feed off of attention and compliments, I actually resent those. I resent the generic, shallow comments, that show no actual recognition of the passion and work that have gone into my work.
All I really want are…

Doctor Who, what it means to be Nerdy :D
Aside from the VlogBrothers and my ego (heh), Doctor Who is quintessential in the existence of Nerdfighters. I mean from the Forums to the Chat there is a very large chance someone is discussing the finer points of the show. As someone who watches it but does not delve too deeply into the inner workings I am intrigued to hear other people's opinions. Such…

Let's Kill Hitler! (WARNING: SPOILERS)
Doctor Who is definitely one of the most unique and well done shows on television. Oh, but I'm preaching to the choir, aren't I Nerdfighteria? I don't have to explain to you how awesome is EXPONENTIALLY increased every time that show airs. Anyway, I've pretty much been up the walls waiting this past week for last night's episode to air (Seriously, I'm pretty sure my parents thought I was on crack cocaine. And not the good kind). I was SO pumped. By the time 9:00 P.M. EST rolled…

Prove to Me that the Universe is Greater than Grains of Sand
There are very few things in the world that I am 100% able to understand and accept.
For example, one of these things (that I can accept) would be that The Doctor is a 900+ year old Time Lord who travels through time and space in his Type 40 TARDIS. I have no problem accepting this as fact. I think that is so because I know that Doctor Who is only a tv show, and I know that it is fiction. Therefore, in the context of Doctor Who, this is an understandable fact.
Things that I…
