I am having trouble with Kiva

I don't know how to use it, and I really need a loan so I can buy the comic book store of my dreams. And I checked, there is no place in Mexico that can give me what I need (via the Kiva providers). I don't know what to do!!!!!

Would you guys recommend Indigogo?

Thor - Is it worth the wait? Harry's Reviews :P

Thor, the eagerly anticipated comic film adaptation from the original Marvel comic, first appearing in issue 85 of Journey into Mystery in 1962, hit the cinemas earlier this week. The film, described as "development hell", had mass trouble in the development of it with eventually assigning Protosevich as the script writer in 2006. Matt Vaughn was picked as director in 2008 but then changed to Branagh later that year. But now the review:…

31 Jokes for NERDS!

In which Hank tells some seriously nerdy jokes. Harry Potter, theoretical physics, Star Trek, Star Wars, Chemistry, Engineering, Philosophy, Math, Computer Science...it's all fair game.

I chose 31 because I knew I wasn't going to hit 50 and I wanted to do a prime number.

I made this video before Humpy Hank became a thing...but something tells me… Continue

Controversy and the Controversial Actor

With the popularity of TMZ, ET, and various other news or tabloid outlets, audiences spend more time talking about the controversial actor rather than talking about the controversial actor’s body of work.

Information is at our finger tips each time we wish to hear about the

latest rehab stint or run in with the law of our favorite celebrities.

Sometimes we cheer them on during their long road to recover. Other

times we vilify them and point to what could have been. Our…

Hello Nerdfighters

Just joined here today, even though I have managed to watch every singel episode :S

But anyway, thought the animation and cartoon nerdfighters wanted to check out this asshat. Who actually uses the word "explotation" as something positiv... Promoting a company that makes cartoons to sell their clothing, toys and lunchboxes. Because you have to squish money out from where ever you can.

Enjoy your rage, I know I… Continue

ANSWERS: ZOMBIE/UNICORNS AND PIE/CAKE

so, i spent an AWESOME day at North Wales Comic Con, with some friends.

Met IANTO JONES, and RHYS, and RHIANNON from torchwood.

and the voice of JOHNNY BRAVO!! (anyone remember him?!)

we (I) was scared of the stormtroopers, and got chased around the hall by them.

Also, CHEWIE WAS THERE, and did not entirely refuse to stand for Presidency.

anyway, there were answers to the great unicorn/zombie debate, and also pie/cake!

ianto jones, is a zombie/cake… Continue

The Legend of the Golden Bus ticket

Nerdfighting is a big part of my life. Since I was in my mid teens I have been interested in Tolkien and so joined a forum. There I made friends and eventually started making comic strips for people to enjoy. I started a series called 'The Phantom and Alien'. But now I've altered it from its in-joke heavy format into something more accessible. I hope. This is the first of a new era, I hope at least one Nerdfighter out there enjoys it.… Continue

Spring Break Books

So I finished two of eleven books. I added two more to the list after that post. I finished Looking for Alaska and Watchmen. I am working on reading Mostly Harmless. It seems that I'm going to have to extend my spring break reading stack out to my before-the-school-year-ends reading stack.

It turns out I'm a very boring person. Oh, I have an exciting tidbit of information I could share! As most people know Green Day's new album is coming out in May and obviously they will be going… Continue

Red Nose Day review

Below is just part of my RND09 review. It is quite long so I have put it on my personal blog: http://helenzebcharles.blogspot.com/2009/03/red-nose-day-2009-review.html

You can just go read it there or see what you think of this little bit first.

Please comment!

It is the biggest night on British television. The BBC hosts a massive 7 hours long, 100% LIVE night of comedy. It makes us laugh, cringe, cry, think, love, giggle and give. Every RND is bigger and better than… Continue

Blurb Preparation and Camcorder Reality

So, I just got 13 Little Blue Envelopes a few days ago and so far it's pretty good. I'm up to the 3rd envelope thus far and not without the sake of trying. Classes, work, time with friends - there's a lot that goes on and I barely got to the point I'm at now. How did my schedule get so full?! Thankfully, though, it's the weekend now and I'm free to read at my leisure. I should be able to finish the book before the weekend is up and have my blurb ready. Probably won't be the most… Continue
