Orchestra concerts, debut Youtube videos, and a great book

I haven't written a blog in a while, so I feel the need to write up one now.

So, just had my orchestra concert. I think we sounded good, but the concert setup was just ATROCIOUS. We have this thing called String Night at our school, where the 4th grade through 12th grade all perform, to show the different stages of playing. Green Day At Lollapalooza 2010 in Chicago!

Since I live in Chicago I go to Lollapalooza every year and see the bands that show up to play.

I'm always eager to expand my music library and today I did. I enjoyed new music from Neon Trees, Kaskade, and The Black Keys. Their music was very good, in my opinion.

But the main thing I wanted to talk about was Green Day.

Elton John

This Saturday I went to see Elton John in Atlantic City. And it was absolutely amazing! It was my first time seeing him, we had great seats, and he put on a fabulous show. But I forgot my camera!! How in the world can I call myself a photographer if I forget my camera when I go out? I'm still so angry at myself.
