What do I watch on TV?

It seems that everything has either ended or not started yet. Glee finished last week. Yes I like Glee and when I told one of my friends this she actually' aww'ed me like there was something seriously wrong with me. But don't worry I don't go around calling myself a 'Gleek'.

Doctor Who isn't starting until autumn, I read somewhere. I think I'm actually going crazy with withdrawal and have to watch old episodes to keep what's left of my sanity. Seeing as it's only just summmer I'm…

The Fault in Our Stars and How I almost had it...

Only you, nerdfighteria can possibly understand how I feel right now. I went to indigo to do a quick return and while I was waiting for the clerk to run it through I glanced over to a box next to the computer. A box full of see-through plastic bags containing BLUE HARDCOVER BOOKS!!!! Naturally I said "The fault in our stars is here????" (although in my head it was more like "THE FAULT IN OUR STARS IS HERE!!!>!?>!?!?!!???") then she said "This book?" to which I replied "Yes, I preordered… Continue

January Happenings.

Not an awful lot has really happened in January. Most of my friends have now gone back to university, good luck to them and best wishes (and to everyone at university); learning more things on the ukulele, such as Carry On My Wayward Son by Kansas; slowly trying to get fitter and healthier.... Oh! And going to Canada on Saturday for skiing and to see my brother who is currently on a ski instructor course out there in a resort called…

The Good Girl Box: My labyrinth of boring

There was a vlogbrothers video recently in which john went back to the boarding school where he went to high school. The boarding school was also the setting for the fabulous book: Looking For Alaska. He talks

about his nostalgia for the place. The “Smoking hole” by the river, where he allegedly

smoked cigarettes while musing philosophically, the beautiful grounds, the mean

swan in the lake which is, miraculously, still alive and well, and the empty…

How anti-climactic...

People sometimes ask me: "Hey, why are you always so nice?"

What a lovely question! - You might be thinking. No. This question questions the very fibre of my being. It is a question that questions my personality, my existence, my soul and my nature of life...

And I honestly don't know how to reply to it.

"Oh, you know, just doing good I 'spose!" ?

"Well, that's what all British people do!" ?

"You see, I was abducted by…
