Over the past couple of days, music has been quite literally taking over my brain.

I have recently discovered the other songs that Gotye has written/performed. Gotye, for those who don't instantly recognize his name, is the guy who sings Somebody That I Used To Know. I love his work. It's gorgeous.

I began reading Dietrich Bonhoeffer's biography along with the man's The Cost of Discipleship a few weeks ago.  As I read it, I became profoundly inspired by Bonhoeffer, as well as challenged.  Bonhoeffer was born in 1906 to a family of scientist, musicians, and scholars in Germany.  He became a theologian, paster, founder of the confessing church, spy, and eventually martyr.  He worked to assist Jews in Nazi controlled Germany and was part of numerous plots to assassinate Hitler…

          I like music a lot. I also like politics a LOT. And I also love comedy. I really want to have all of these as a profession but I hate having to pick and choose ;-;.
