Okay, it's my first time posting here, so forgive me for sounding so stupid. I must admit though, becoming a nerdfighter was more awesome than I expected.
So why am I here? Why did it take so freaking long for me to make this account? Well, okay. Honestly, I only found out about the vlogbrothers recently. Yeah, I know, SHAAAME. It took me a bit longer to realize that wow, okay, these guys are definitely worth the subscribe and the stalking that comes with a new fandom. And I found…Continue
so obviously when i discovered the Green brothers videos online it was as if my eyes had been opened to a whole new world, a world where there were people like me who found intelligent stuff cool and fascinating. i was amazed, and totally captivated so i dedicated myself to watch as many videos as i could and loved every minute of it, i also kept hearing about the nerdfighter website but i never really checked it out. I AM INCREDIBLY AWKWARD WHEN SPEAKING TO PEOPLE OR APPROACHING THEM FOR…Continue
Well, I've been watching vlogbrothers' videos for a while now and just recently decided to subscribe (not entirely sure why I wasn't to begin with); and though it took a bit longer, I finally joined here. It took a while because joining any new social networking sort of site makes me a bit nervous and I'm not the best at socializing even on the internet. I'm not sure if others have this problem, but it irritates me that I can't seem to get over the nerves that come with joining a new…Continue
So I've been a Nerdfighter for a good amount of time but I've only just joined the website and I feel like a baby and I don't know what to do Dx I need someone to teach me the ways of the Nerdfighters
If you're a new Youtuber who's a Nerdfighter or anything you should share your channel name below so more people can watch you!!
Before hearing about it on here I had already made it one of my resolutions to read 100 books this year! So far I'm off to a good start and read Feed in one day. Woo! In other news I have no idea what to put on this website. Like This is really my first time using it and I don't know what to do. Any tips? Please and thanks

hi! i finally made time to sign up as a nerdfighter in nerdfighteria, i'm new as you can see, i just started watching the vlogbrothers not long ago, what encouraged me to do so is my favorite book i have ever read, which is "the fault in out stars" by John Green, i started researching about the author and i found out that he had a vlog account and i started watching them, i just started to join this community and i'm currently still in the progress of figuring things out, so if this isn't a…Continue
Okay... I've been putting this off for long enough. Here is a full and complete list of my new years resolutions, and I solemnly swear to try really hard to do all of them.

"Succinct" isn't something I've mastered to a T yet. I've got cynicism, drawing, fantabulous hair and bountiful levels of aspirations and optimism (highly aware of the juxtaposition to the cynicism) all mastered and under my Batman belt, stored in my repertoire of things I have mastered to a T, but succinctness, dancing and larger wrists are all things that I have not got mastered to a T.
I've attempted to create blogs in the past, and have either gone off on tangents, been…Continue
Hey fellow nerdfighters! So, I know I don't really post much (this shall change, I swear on the grave of Thorin Oakenshield), but my friends and I have started a nerdvlog together! We'll probably just be talking about random nerdy amazingness. We do fight against suck, and we even mention a JOHN GREEN NOVEL in the first post! Give us a look and maybe some ideas for topics to discuss if you'd like. We hope to entertain you in your fight against suck!
(By the way, sorry for the cruddy…Continue

about 2 weeks ago I made a youtube channel effort, trying to upload things that I personally thought were funny, but after only getting 11 subscribers in 2 weeks, I think I officially fail at the youtube scene, despite thats what all the cool kids are doing.
I have made an epic friend through it all though, she does live in america, but that won't stop us from being VTIBF's xD
so the basic point of this blog is to see if anyone would care to check out my vlog…Continue

After much deliberation on making up my own DFTBA initialism, I'm finally a nerdfighter. Yay!Took me gazillion centuries to join, though.

So, new person here! I think I have it tattooed on my forehead. But no matter. I'm used to be the new person in a lot of situations. Military brat, nomadic spirit, loner... Kinda makes it impossible not to find myself in new situations.
Found Brotherhood 2.0 from my boss at work. Pretty much hooked ever since. Donated my first loan to kiva.org. Sent everyone I knew to have an inkling towards nerdiness here. There, done my part... My other credentials include over 735 books on…Continue

A Thoughts from Places video in which John Green attends Book Expo America in New York City, also known as BEA, where he thinks about celebrity and secular worship after meeting the super-cool Chris Colfer from Glee, as well as some of his favorite writers, including Darin Strauss and Jeffrey Eugenides. Also discussed are writers M. T. Anderson, Shannon Hale, Cassandra…Continue

First, I must start off by saying you are all indeed "made of awesome". My name is Nina and I am new here to the ning. I found out about vlogbrothers by visiting the Wikipedia page of my school (Eckerd College) and finding…Continue
I'm still confused :')
If anyone would care to help me around and fill me in, it would be much appreciated!
Aside from that, do any of you live in England? Would be nice to find some local nerd fighters!
Ok, that's it for today! :)…Continue

In which John answers a wide variety of your questions as he travels to beautiful New York City for Book Expo America, where a rope dangling from outside his skyscraper hotel room window terrifies him. Issues addressed include romantic relationships, the cover of An Abundance of Katherines, the banning of Looking for Alaska, favorite YouTubers and Beatles albums, etc.
Hey guys! I'm new to the nerdfighters world so sorry if I'm a little slow on the uptake! :D If any of you guys could give me tips on how this all works I would be so grateful. I was just converted earlier this week! I'm so excited! This seems like one big, supportive community! I've been watching a lot of the videos and I especially enjoyed Hank's take on the moral of the Hunger Games and I totally agree. Thanks for this great community! DFTBA! ;D
