Hello everyone who happens to stumble across this post and decide to read it,
My name is Laura, I'm 17 and I live in Australia, none of that seems particularly relevant but I thought I'd tell you a little about me first.
So, I guess the first thing we have to cover here is what do we consider compassion to be? For me, compassion is simply the ability to care about someone that isn't you. Extremely compassionate people can care about those who they've never met, and empathetic…Continue
I just bought the The Fault In Our Stars audiobook today. The woman reading, Kate Rudd, is a surprisingly good voice actress for Hazel. At first I didn't think she could ever match the amazingness that is John reading it but then in the bit when she meets Kaitlin at the mall she does a really good imitation of her slightly British accent. I love the way her voice changes ever so slightly for different characters.
I am, in fact, listening to the audiobook right now as i'm writing…Continue

I was on Tumblr...like always...and one of the people I follow posted this:
After reading through the comments stemming from the first post, I particularly like the very last one:
Anonymous asked: I think the compliment itself was nice, if probably a bit bewildering for the girl. However, the underlying thought…Continue

As the title indicated, this is the first blog post I've ever made on the Ning, so I do apologize if this ends up being boring or not planned out very well. Honestly, I am just winging this.

Now, I have an opinion as much as the next person does. And I’ll admit that I’m the stubborn type of human who always believes their opinion is right. This usually isn’t the best way to go about expressing your opinion, so I typically keep to myself. And that’s all fine and dandy, but I have two friends who…Continue

I usually post a discussion about the books I read and then ask the nerdfighting community about what their opinion is, but blogging is unfortunately more fun than I thought it was - god that sounded narcissistic - so here I am writing a blog no one will read! (and if you do read it, please let me know by leaving a comment with your opinion and thoughts on the book, they really do inspire me!)
