So Hi, I like to sometimes write poetry, so I thought I'd share some of it with you. I have one poem based on The Fault in Our Stars, so IF YOU HAVEN'T READ IT STOP NOW because it sort of contains spoilers,
He’s gone, He’s passed, his time had come,
Their words echo, the beats of a loud, soulless drum.
Their words and comfort can’t help him now,
Their hands in prayer, their heads…Continue
I never was the kind of guy that read much,id rather play a videogame, watch TV or play rugby, but one day, as I was touring UK I saw the fault in our stars in a bookshelf and, being a nerd fighter, i felt I had to buy it.I had never read any book that wasn't imposed to me by my school, and this book reading thing was all new to me, but I decided to give your's a shot. I read the whole damn book in two days, and considering that my average reading speed is a page every two…
Esther Day is tomorrow (3rd August - the actual day may vary for you depending upon your timezones), and in memory of Esther Grace Earl, the beautiful and tragically deceased nerdfighter, and every other young victim of cancer, that s the day to tell someone, friend or family, that you love them.
I've made a facebook group for this, but as I'm not 18 Facebook won't allow me to make it public :/ so, here's the link:…Continue

So, at 2:30 in the morning when I should be writing or sleeping I decided to procrastante on the internet, and stumbled across Google where I got curious. And looked up "The fault in our stars fanfiction" just to be curious. And I found stuff; beautiful, sad stuff that makes me cry when I read it.
So, do you Nerdfighters ever read fanfiction? I wonder John does. I'd love to know.
In which John Green pretends to be Charlie McDonnell by answering the same questions Hank asked him, while signing a lease at his new office and getting the movie option for The Fault in Our Stars signed and notarized. Also, John tells a story about the astronaut who farted on the moon.
And yes, since apparently a lot of you did not know this, the movie rights to my…Continue

(It occurred to me while editing that you are not actually able to confirm that I ever put on pants.) In which John travels to Amsterdam--where he lived for two months while finishing The Fault in Our Stars--to promote the Dutch edition of the book. Along the way he visits places that were important to him and to the made-up people in his novel, including the Spui Square,…Continue

Yesterday I started reading the fault in our stars, so naturally I finished it today.
I never really wrote like a book review, except for Dutch class (a bit like English in the US, only in Dutch, if that makes sense :S}, so I am so sorry if it isn't like good or anything. Tips and advice are always welcome ;D.
DISCLAIMER: SPOILER ALERT!
I think this book is my favourite John Green book. I loved all he's other books, but this book was just SO AWESOME, when I…Continue

In which John makes a video for future John, future Hank, and future Katherine about what happened at the 2012 Tour de Nerdfighting and how it felt. Thanks to everyone who came out for the tour this year, to all the awesome independent bookstores and theaters that hosted us, and to the nice nerdfighter who held the camera.

I'd like to say first of all, if this blog doesn't make any sense, I am sorry. I have been up all night because I work thirds and sometimes my southern accent can seep through my writing skills.
A few months ago I watched a Vlogbrother video, of course, and I saw where John had given us the amazing option of pre-ordering The Fault in Our Stars and, in doing so, we will get a signed copy of said book. I have read most of his work and thought this was an amazing thing, so I…Continue

So, I finished reading TFIOS about half an hour ago, and have been trying to figure out a way to express my akdjfaeifhadhfs without spoiling anything. So here I go.
It's amazing. Spectacular. Nothing short of absolutely beautiful.
[sidenote: my j-scribble is green, when I opened the book for the first time I actually sat and stared at the signature for a few minutes, kind of in awe, I guess because John Green's hand actually wrote on this exact piece of…Continue

Earlier this week, I got a new bracelet to replace a livestrong bracelet I had broken and decided to buy one of the "this star won't go out" bracelets that commemorates Esther Earl. As I was doing this I suddenly realized the connection between Hazel and Esther, and in particular, the title and Esther. Now the title comes from the Shakespeare's Julius Ceaser where Cassius says to Brutus, "The fault, dear Brutus is not in our stars, / But in…Continue
