First NF blog post, so I figured I'd start off with something profound and meaningful, something that gives insight into my innermost psyche.

That's right...a list of 13 things that are cool (at least in my opinion). :D

1. Nutella. Chocolate-hazelnut spread of awesome that has the consistency and nutritional value of cake frosting. This is at the forefront of my mind at present, because I'm going to be making Nutella brownies after lunch.

Studying archaeology gives a perspective of humanity that not many people have, I tend to think alot about what future generations will see of me and this time in the physical record we will leave behind. (Just as we study the past by looking at what our ancestors have made for the world to see, what they have inadvertently left behind and what they have thrown away)

It also gives a strange appreciation for how the items we use change over time for various reasons such as aesthetics…

This is going to be a very different review. For a very different book. I read "The God of Small Things" because my dad wanted me to read it. I think he said I should read it because of my own interest in writing, because I am always inspired by the brilliance of authors. It took me quite a long time to read this book; two full weeks I think, which is kind of ridiculous. It wasn't that it was a difficult read (I've read more difficult books faster than that) or that it was boring (it…

As the title of the Blog suggests, this is in fact, about  prayer! It's been on my mind for a fair wee bit and I'd figure one way to get it outt'a me system would be to write  typed it all out. Heck, what could go wrong? ~People could think that you don't respect one of their most priced beliefs~ Quiet contradicting voice within my head! ~ You know I'm right ~.  God damn it..

Things I’ve Learned from Middle School

1. Microwave your sponge for a minute every week to kill the germs on it.

Forreal. This is a handy tip from Mr. Ordons, my 6th grade earth science teacher. He was something of a health nut and had us log our meals for a week, among other things. But, he assured us, he has his weaknesses too! I remember him pulling out a box of girl scout cookies and saying that he’ll eat a fourth of a box in a day…

I'm just going to make a bullet-point list of everything I've been up to lately.

• Played Pokemon
• Read a couple of books
• Wrote a story
• Got my exam results
• Worried myself sick about everyone not being an ass in the riots in England
• Being pretty thankful that I don't live there (not a dig, I swear)
• Played more Pokemon
• Played some GTA San Andreas
• Organised plans to actually leave the house…

1. Dandelions. Very pretty,can tell you if your friends have crushes, make exellent flower chains, and grant wishes. I also think if your sworn nemisses has allergies, these little flowers could come in handy.
2. A blank sheet of paper. You can make oragami, write a speech the future president of the world may one day recite, or the start of an epic sci-fi or fantasy book that just might get some people to join the nerdyside.

We woke up extremely early today to leave the hotel by 5:15. Now we’re on our way home. So, did I enjoy it? Yes. It was a new experience and the farthest I’ve traveled. It’s a different culture, too. If I were given the choice, I would definitely do it again.

So, that was my trip to London. It was a lot of fun and definitely worth the money.
