This site is has grabbed my attention, and I'm glad to soon be meeting people hopefully like me. Except since I'm a Book Reading Nerdfighter (if that is a correct term, I'm still fairly new, and I'm still just along in the beginning of the series) I want to use my blog for what I want. My opinion and I want to use if for my thoughts on the books I'm reading, as well as share the stuff I am writing.

I don't have a twitter account, I do not "tweet", mainly for the reasons that it scares me the amount of influence 140 characters has over anything, and that the people on there are, sometimes, imbeciles. However, I respect and occasionally fear the intelligent, tech-and-social-savvy users; if you are one of these people, congratulations.

What annoys me, however, is the attention span of the human consciousness.

One thing I have noticed when it comes to Nerdfighters is that, as a community we are well connected to one another. Problem is that the site itself is the main way people stay in contact. So when something happens for example the Ning deciding they want to work on maintenance when it is most inconvenient for the rest of us, that contact shuts down. Hannah Lindgren, Paul Weller, and I are film students at Ball State University, and we recently got permission from John and Hank Green via Twitter to produce a documentary about Nerdfighteria, the Vlogbrothers, and Vidcon. We are really excited about this project, and this summer we will be flying out to Anaheim, CA to film at Vidcon! Paul Weller and I will be the cinematographers, while Hannah Lindgren is the producer and editor.

Ok this is my first blog so forgive me if it is an epic fail.

My observations.

Facebook has become so large that it is expected of you to have an account. I know people who have 2. I think it has become to extreme. I think a social networking site has become to big if biscuits have accounts.

Ever night before i go to sleep I write a to do list for the next day just to stay organized and productive. Last night I only had 4 things on my list

1. Give Julian gift

2. Sort clothes and put away things that aren't coming to college with me

3. sit in a movie theater for about 5 hours (its a band thing)
