Legalizing Hate in America

In which Hank discusses marriage equality, which isn't actually an issue of marriage equality, it's an issue of human equality, and the fact that we're still struggling with it is very disappointing.

my sister, nerdfighteria, and world suck

So, my sister is 10 years younger than me, and she is also the one that introduced me to Hank and John's videos in the first place. Well, I've gotten so hooked that I am watching a marathon of old brotherhood 2.0 videos (since I just started watching this year). The one year anniversary presents to my boyfriend and I are mystery shirts from DFTBA.com and he surprised me…

Day 301: Song Tuesday #29

I was going to something amazing and spectacular for my 300th blog. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time because of rehearsal and, instead, Jerry wrote one. Today's Song Tuesday is from The United States of America, Vol. 2: The Middle Years.

China Finally Speaks Out Against Darfur

So the media and some human rights activists are pointing to public statements, like this one, as signs that China is finally being shamed into speaking on darfur by international pressure. While it is change of policy to speak publically on the genocide that is taking place in Darfur, it is also clear that mouth pieces like Liu Guijin are merely touting the same nationalistic taking points that we hear over and… Continue

Blog the First

"Could someone with a smelly nose..."

OK, Dad, you can claim your place as the "Pun Master".

You know, I have a friend who believes that puns sit on the lowest rung of the comedy-ladder, following sarcasm and irony.

I disagree. Puns are a form of wit that require a clever exploitation of the English language that, when the words are chosen correctly, can create a humorous statement that is all together… Continue
