Africa’s longest running war is currently raging in Uganda. It’s a war between Joseph Kony, the leader of the Lord’s Resistance Army, and the Ugandan government. What makes this war so horrendous is that the LRA (Lord’s Resistance Army) kidnaps and basically enslaves Ugandan children, aged 9, 10, and 11, as soldiers and force them to kill and fight in a war they have no choice in.
