Stick and Stones, or Overblown Pondering?

"Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but words could likely kill me" - Connor Holland.

I think as Nerds many of us growing up have experienced either bullying, or insults at the very least with the intent to hurt, annoy or just otherwise make us mad. Connor in this video brings up a pretty damn good point, but what do you guys think? Bullying is…

To Be a Ningmaster?

How I became a Ningmaster...

This is a question which is far more long winded than even I realised when I thought about it. So this is how it happened. I had been frequenting the Nerdfighters Ning chat for some time before I begun to realise that there were a lot of troublemakers in there. I befriended one of the current Ningmasters at the time…

P4A is a Go!

Project 4 Awesome is in full swing and the results are already incredible. Last time I checked they had reached over $600,000 on the P4A website. As Nerdfighters I have no need to tell you about what this beautiful project is, and what it's about. But I can ask you to take a few minutes to view a few of the videos on offer promoting many worthy charities that desperately need donations.…

Video Project Guidelines

We are looking to get content creators and Nerdfighters to create videos to be posted on the Nerdfightersinfo channel. We are aiming to have three videos a week up there; Monday, Thursday and Saturday. The videos are going to be either Nerdfighters' centric or world/local events to you (falls under world suck). The videos can also be used to promote your own channels and the like towards the end of a video in the outro. There will likely be themes on certain weeks to tie into…

Invalid Arguments: Climate Change

In this vidoe Hank discusses... ah forget it, COPY AND PASTE!

"There are only a few topics that seem less obvious but more hotly debated than climate change. It's here, it's happening, it's caused by humanity, and it is one of the largest problems humanity will ever face. But I believe we will face it, and we'll face it with the desperate…

Addicted to Vlogbrothers? So is this guy! Help is available!

I have come across many types of Nerdfighters in my time on this fine site, and in the fandom in general. There are none more awesome... and scary as the sufferers of ATVD, which is totally a real thing I am told, so look it up. As such there exists a Nerdfighter who decided to stand up and speak about his troubles. So no more should you feel that you…

Started from the Bottom: Benjamin Franklin and Drake Compared

As per the norm, despite watching this video twice, I think John manages to describe the video better than I could. So at the risk of looking lazy I have stolen the video description. Enjoy!

"In which John compares the Drake song "Started from the Bottom (Now We Here)" with Benjamin Franklin's Autobiography, two American dream…

42 Amazing Maps

Who better than Hank himself to explain what his video is about:

"The map, as an innovation, is extremely important. Simply constructing a useful representation of our world onto a piece of paper (or clay or vellum or whatever) vastly increased the capabilities of humankind. But we continue to add and alter this medium, in ways that allow for greater…

Syria in Five Minutes

In which Hank discusses the situation in Syria as deeply and completely as he can in five minutes.

Negotiations are ongoing as to whether and how chemical weapons will be removed from Syria. This is an opportunity for the global community, but for the people of Syria, no matter how this discussion goes, there will be years…
