Forgot to mention...I'm engaged now. Have been since January 27, 2012.

So yeah....there's that.

I've recently moved from Ohio to West Virginia due to unforeseen things that happened in early May (i.e. We got caught in a flood and Boy-Nerd's car now needs a new motor). It's weird being in a new place where I have absolutely no idea where anything is. Therefore I have to rely on the Boy-Nerd and his knowledge of the area from when he lived here as a child. I have successfully knitted a hat.

 

Yeah, take that yarn. I dominated you! I made you into a hat using my new loom.

 

I need to get out more, I think. Ha ha ha.

I've been attempting to finish the scarf I've been knitting for the past 2-3 years. (I've been busy.)

 

Anyway, last night I had a tragedy. Bigger than any missed stitch or mysterious extra stitches. A knot. Not just any knot. A HUGE knot. I'm not going to lie (and I put my tough girl reputation on the line), I about cried. There was just no end. So I cut it and tied the two freed ends back together.

So I read...a lot. I guess that would be the correct phrase. Since January 2008 (up to today), I've read 214 new books. Granted that doesn't seem like a lot to someone who reads quite often, but to most of my friends and family, that a ridiculous amount of books read in just over 3 years.
