That's the very first "official" Nerdfighter Shirt. Designed by yours truly.
Wearing the shirt is Shea Gunther, the self proclaimed “coolest guy named Shea Gunther you’ll ever meet”. He's a friend of Hank and the guy behind Meatspace Tees, an eco-friendly t-shirt company:
We're just nuts for Green. We only print on Organic cotton shirts using special inks free of the normal PVC, Phthalates, Heavy Metals, or Pesticides. We buy… Continue

Well, I'm looking for more than one Belgian.
In fact, I'm looking for all
Belgians on here.
But I think I've got most of them by now, though.
So here's a list of all Belgian Nerdfighters (on the ning):

3D modeling is fun, but rendering images takes such an awful lot of time...
's a render I made last year.
At the moment I'm rendering an animation. Very basic animation, I might add. Just camera movement, the objects I modeled don't actually move.
It's going to be about ten seconds long (depending on the frame rate I choose.)
Anyway, it has 250… Continue

Update: Apparently yes.
Hank confirmed that the images were released by Intel's PR.
My first thoughts were:
Trademark infringement? Yes.
Guess I was wrong.
Just a few remarks about this image:
Arial is, apart from Times New Roman, the most default typeface you can possibly choose. It's not a bad typeface, but if you are going to compress the width around 15%, you can… Continue

It's May fifth! That means that it's Hank's birthday!!!
What are you waiting for?!? Go wish him a happy birthday!!! (And if you've already done so, go do it again! :D)
In honor of Hank's birthday, I've finished rewriting the wikipedia entry for "Hank Green". Hopefully it'll stay this time.

Feel free to edit the page. I kept the part about Brotherhood 2.0 and the Nerdfighters quite… Continue

What is reality?
That was the question. Presentations were to be between 5 and 10 minutes.
Everyone was going to mention frequently used philosophies about reality. Amongst them; Descartes ("Dubito, ergo cogito, ergo sum" - "I doubt, therefor I think, therefor I am"), Immanuel Kant, Heisenberg (uncertainty principle), etc.
So I needed something original for my presentation. Something relevant. Something nerdy.
Something like a B2.0… Continue

I've been tagged, both in video and blog. But I'm too lazy to do both.
So I'll use the same five things twice :P I'll put up a video (and embed it in this blog) in a few days...
So here are five things about me.
1. I can remember the 150 first digits of Pi (Ok, maybe a bit less now, I'm not sure, but I used to be able to.)
2. I have bendy thumbs :D (If you want to know the details; I can bend the distal phalanges of my thumbs over an interval of around 150°… Continue

Today, Akismet struck again, banning dozens of innocent people from My Pants.
And I'm really annoyed.
If you don't know Akismet, you probably weren't banned. Akismet is the spam filter plugin thingy that keeps spam (and Nerdfighters, apparently) out of My Pants
How does one bypass an IP-ban from my pants? Simple. Use a proxy server to hide your real IP.
DON'T TRY TO LOG IN. IF YOU LOG IN AND YOUR ACCOUNT IS STILL BANNED, AKISMET WILL BLOCK THE… Continue

Well, I can't do it with my left hand. But I strongly believe one should do it with both hands at the same time, and I can't do that :(
There are probably a whole lot of people in the world that can't do it at all. After all, it's not the most common handgesture to make. And I was wondering: Shouldn't all Nerdfighters be able to do it?
The answer is yes, they should. But not all of them are.
There are people who can do the sign, people who can't
and people who can do it… Continue

This is a follow-up of my Poster Making Guide (see post below
Colour printing is quite expensive. If I print A4 sheets with the colour laserprinter at my school, I pay €0.45 per sheet. ($0.66) (I got the chance to print them at €0.10 each because the payterminal made a mistake. Too much awesome, probably.) In a printshop, I might get them printed for somewhere around €0.30 per sheet, but only if… Continue

I watched the last video earlier.
It's beginning to sink in. It's really over, isn't it?
But every ending is a beginnin of something new.

It's already the last day of the year. Which also means it's the last day of Brotherhood 2.0 *sniff* (Technically, it isn't the last day yet, because B2.0 is EST based wich means it still lasts for about a day and 5 hours or something?)
Luckily it's not the last day of Nerdfighting.
I'll put up "How do I make a Nerdfighter Poster to hang on my wall - For Dummies" soon, that way everyone can have awesome wall decoration like me. I really should make a Hank poster sometime. I mean,… Continue
