Rendering....

*Sigh*

3D modeling is fun, but rendering images takes such an awful lot of time...

Here's a render I made last year.

At the moment I'm rendering an animation. Very basic animation, I might add. Just camera movement, the objects I modeled don't actually move.

It's going to be about ten seconds long (depending on the frame rate I choose.)

Could Intel be that stupid?

Update: Apparently yes.

Hank confirmed that the images were released by Intel's PR.

My first thoughts were:

Trademark infringement? Yes.

What is reality?

That was the question. Presentations were to be between 5 and 10 minutes.

Everyone was going to mention frequently used philosophies about reality. Amongst them; Descartes ("Dubito, ergo cogito, ergo sum" - "I doubt, therefor I think, therefor I am"), Immanuel Kant, Heisenberg (uncertainty principle), etc.

Bypass your IP-ban! and a nerdfighter poem for a SpamFilter that went Beserk. [Rated R?]

Today, Akismet struck again, banning dozens of innocent people from My Pants.

Including me.

And I'm really annoyed.

If you don't know Akismet, you probably weren't banned. Akismet is the spam filter plugin thingy that keeps spam (and Nerdfighters, apparently) out of My Pants

How does one bypass an IP-ban from my pants? Simple. Use a proxy server to hide your real IP.

I can't do the Nerdfighters hand sign!

Well, I can't do it with my left hand. But I strongly believe one should do it with both hands at the same time, and I can't do that :(

There are probably a whole lot of people in the world that can't do it at all. After all, it's not the most common handgesture to make. And I was wondering: Shouldn't all Nerdfighters be able to do it?

Poster Making Tip: Colour Printing!!!

This is a follow-up of my Poster Making Guide (see post below)

Colour printing is quite expensive. If I print A4 sheets with the colour laserprinter at my school, I pay €0.45 per sheet. ($0.66) (I got the chance to print them at €0.10 each because the payterminal made a mistake. Too much awesome, probably.) It's already the last day of the year. Which also means it's the last day of Brotherhood 2.0 *sniff* (Technically, it isn't the last day yet, because B2.0 is EST based wich means it still lasts for about a day and 5 hours or something?)
