Vote for your favorite blurbs and "Mockingjay"

Hey, Nerdfighters! Its Friday... and its been a long week, full of good news (John's birthday and the release of Mockingjay) and bad news (Esther's death). But nonetheless, the blurbing book club continues and hopefully you'll continue participating.

Today is technically the day I would give you three blurbs for "Rampant" from the discussion that I think capture the essence of the book, for you all to vote on. Which I'm going to do... but just fyi, there were only three blurbs this month. Now, I'm not blaming you. Its partially, or possible all, my fault since I didn't blog/remind you to read/discuss/blurb in two weeks. Sorry about that, I'll do better. *pinky swears*

So, without further ado, here's the three top *cough* only *cough* blurbs for "Rampant" by Diana Peterfreund:

1. "The unicorn on your daughters pillow wants to kill you" by Madison Hite

2. "Girl has issues with unicorns and boys" by Jordan Jones

3. "Forget everything you ever thought you knew about unicorns" by Kat Hicks

For this next month I think the obvious choice for the our next book has already been stated in this blog. Which is to say that from today, August 27th to September 30th we'll be reading "Mockingjay" by Suzanne Collins.

You may notice that I added in an extra week to the usual month. This is because "Mockingjay" is the third in a series and in case anyone hasn't read "The Hunger Games" and "Catching Fire" they'll hopefully have time do so first.

Also, I know several of you have already read it, which is fine, you just have more time to discuss it with your fellow nerdfighters and think of awesome blurbs. Or, possibly, re-read it. Or... if you don't want to re-read or if you have already done that as well, why not use your extra time to create some submissions for the Guide to Nerdfighting?

That being said, I'll leave you to vote, read, discuss, blurb and contribute to the Guide.

I like #3 because its exactly how i feel lol! I wanted to blurb this book so bad but i started it late and didnt get it finished til yesterday :) Good book i enjoyed it very much!
