Nerdfighters

Hello Nerdfighters,

So I’m not going to bore you with crappy poems today.

Or thoughts on nerdfighterlike.

Or rants about my ex.

I’m going to talk to you guys, today, about friendship.

Now, I’ve had bad luck with friendship ever since the fourth grade, when my best friend at the time, and I, decided we’d begin a band, and she’s be Spice, I’d be Sugar, and that was that.

Yeah, our friendship only lasted another week.

Now, being in Marching Band does have it’s perks. Automatic friendship is not one of them, for me at least.

I’m in pit, which is the front non-marching ensemble in the front of the band. We have xylophones and keyboards and such things, and it’s not hard to get into pit: seriously, just sign up.

Now, it took me three weeks to be comfortable talking to the other guy in pit, who is two years behind me in school.  That’s so sad! I’m not good at human interaction!

I barely talk well in the ning!

Ah well...

And then recently, I lost my two best friends, so I’m kind of at lost with what to do with myself. I don’t have very many people to talk to, which is why I’m clinging to my blog posts so bad and hoping that someone will read them.

I am the type of girl to wear my heart on my sleeve, not only with guys, but with future friends. I’ll pick up anyone as a friend, whether they live near or far, or if they speak a different language. I’m pretty tight with this guy from Germany, though I’m always teaching him new words and what they mean, and he tells me the German word back.

A lot of my friends are just that: friends. They are not best friends or good friends. In fact, I don’t even know them that well, so I’d even go and say they’re more like acquaintances. The few good friends I have are all taken, and so they spend ninety-five percent of their time hanging out with their boyfriends. I didn’t even do that when I was with Erik. I’m so lonely all the time!

Okay, I’m done ranting. I think. Let’s hope.

So I’ve decided to do some sort of video, whether it be very short, or whether it be slightly long, everyday. I felt more comfortable in front of the camera today than I did yesterday, so I guess that’s an improvement.

So I’m pretty much online all day. I’m more of a Skyper, but if you would rather just chat, it’ll at least give me something to do.

Also, check out my Youtube channel. I know that there are only two videos, but please watch, like, subscribe... Panda wants you to :) http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNy_gh-pbulNTW-Pbyumq5g?feature=g-a...

Okay. I’m done for today.

G’night Nerdfighters!

You guys are both right. People suck. Books are better. Loneliness also sucks, but being awesome sure helps.

Yeah. Don't be sad. I quite don't get people who don't like nerds.. I mean, we are one of the most interesting people in the world! lol! We have more depth in our personalities..

You, Caroline, are an amazing person.

That totally cheered me up a lot :)

Well that is rather sad.

Your friends need to remember that there are other people around them, other than their boyfriends. I understand your lonliness and everything. Actually I posted a poem about my lonliness the other day, and you should go look at it. I think it might cheer you up, well it's actually a depressing poem, but it might make you realize that you're not alone. The entire point of this site, and nerdfighteria is for nerds to be less alone.

Not a single nerd in this world is good with human interactions, because humans suck. We would rather bury our face in a book, and write out long poems and stories that no one will ever read. We don't need human interaction, because we have that in the books we read.

Occasional lonliness will set in, I understand that, but remember that every nerdfighter thinks your awesome. Now you all you need to do is DFTBA, and rock on.
