Comment by britta. on July 5, 2008 at 1:40am - it was so foggy here one year that they sent all the coast guard helicopters up to chop up the fog and get it to dissipate. it didn't work, but the fireworks were more beautiful as vague blurs than they ever were before or have been since.

Sounded like you had a blast :) I also have a fondness for hotdogs and baseball. Fortunately I got to light some of my own fireworks this year - it was a first-time experience. But still very fun.

I failed at seeing fireworks this year :[
but at least i was able to witness some in hank's glasses!!
