Yessssss!

Being (overly) concerned about things pays off!!! I made honors and departmental recitals! Rejoice! My vocal piece, "Vielle Chanson" by Bizet made departmental and my flute piece, "Concertino" by Chaminade made honors! COMPLETE SHOCK! This is so shocking because I almost did not audition for the recital. It was just going to be for scholarship, haha... Then my flute teacher told me she thought they would ask why I wasn't auditioning and I would have had to tell them that it was because I didn't want to embarrass myself in front of the music department. Well, it went well. Too well. So... now I need to find an accompanist for the honors because the one I have couldn't play at 11:30 on a Thursday. Poo. Oh well. More money out of my pocket... Maybe I'll get a paycheck this week... Maybe not.

Oh! Tonight we have a Pippin run-through and I am so excited! I LOVE PIT ORCHESTRA!!!

Now I shall nap! I don't have observations today so this free time will be well spent... Good afternoon!
