Nerdfighters

Probably because I have strange ones myself. And because I always notice if someone else has a strange habit. Whenever my hands are free, I'm constantly couting my fingers with my thumb. its kind of hard to explain, so I made a picture on paint to show you (on the left). Can you understand that? Well, If you ever saw me in person I'd be doing that constantly. Also whenever I walk past anything I also have to run my fingers over it. Like I can't be walking down a hallway without touching the walls. Or walking in a grocery store without running my fingers across the shelves. Is that weird? The last one I do is if I'm ever taking a test or a quiz, while I'm thinking I have to play Deck the Halls on piano on my desk. I used to play piano and its the only song I remember how to play, so whenever I'm nervous I pretend I'm playing it. Heh... that's pretty lame. Does any other nerdfighters do silly things like that for no reason?

I am always going through the a,b,c,d,e,f,g major chords on my hand as fast as I can... I prolly look like an idiot now that I think about it...hmm
I also used to have to, after already touching something with my hand, touch it with my other one... weird, i know

Having done the same thing for twenty years or more, I'd have guessed you played guitar. It's similar to the streching exercises I've done for years except that I "count" in patterns. Sometimes it's straight across from index to pinky or pinky to index. Sometimes alternating fingers as I go. Sometimes shaping chords as I flex my fingers.

Are we related? My dad has this same habit, he starts with his pinky and moves up, sometimes 2 hands at once. It's kindof fun. And comforting. Not weird at all. I have one I can't explain well - it's a finger stretch where I make each finger scoop in a U shape. That makes no sense. Did you ever make string teacups or Jacob's ladder? It's the string scoop move. That makes no sense either. Oh well.
Great illustrations btw!

I mouth words to songs when I'm not talking to anyone. Like not noticeably so, but enough that it gives people pause. I'm sining in my head.
