There and Back Again - My Crazy Roadtrip to Michigan

I didn't bother with much footage of John and Hank because my sound was kind of wonky and I'm too tired to go through and pick out the parts that you can actually hear. Besides, I know that there are people who got much better footage than I did and I'm sure that will be up soon.

I was lucky enough to have been able to go to the gathering up in Michigan yesterday to meet John, Hank, and Maureen. And it was quite possibly the highlight of my year thus far. It was an extremely conincidental turn of events that I found myself with 1) two days off of school and work, 2) the possession of my mom's car, and 3) enough money to pay for gasoline since I live almost 300 miles south of Grand Rapids here in Central Illinois. Maybe it wasn't the most eco-friendly thing to do, but it had been a while since I could remember having an adventure and I didn't know when I'd ever have this chance again.

Regardless of whether or not my 622 mile round-trip was crazy or not, I'm really glad that I went.
