Hill vs. Roof

So if you read my five facts blog, you would know that I'm pretty afraid of hills. Well the other day I was over at my friends house, and she lives by the woods. We went to take her dog for a walk in there and there are like REALLY steep hills in those woods! I was beside myself. She was climbing up and down the hills like a monkey while I was stuck holding on for dear life to a tree trunk. The thing about hills- they are unreliable! The dirt could crumble right beneath your feet and you could fall down them and get all dirty and get scratches on the twigs and stuff... it's too painful to think about!
Anyways, later that day I noticed that you could climb onto her roof really easily from her window. She said she's never done it because her roof it really steep. But I really wanted to so I climbed out and scurried up to the top and sat down to relax. It was really nice, the sun was out and it was nice and hot. She couldn't believe that I went up there since I'm such a wimp with hills. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING! Roofs are reliable. They aren't going to collapse beneath your feet so you can roll down them in terror! The only way you could fall off a roof is if you make a mistake, not if the roof does. Because roofs don't make mistakes =) ... unless they cave in, but that's not relevant.

I don't want to take anything away from your fear of hills, but I have to say that this is a very funny post. I think I would have been a shocked as your friend to see you climb up on the roof. Thanks for sharing you definitely DFTBA! :)
