Joy-fullness in Jazz Choir!

And all was calm. Oh as calm as it will ever get. Hello, darling friends of mine. It feels liked it has been forever since I wrote a traditional non-ranting non-Part of the Pride blog, hasn't it? No matter. On the plus side, I have many updates.

By the weekend, I will have Atlanta and Band Camp 2007 pictures up. I finally got the pictures developed and they are great! And in true fashion, the end of the school year should bring about a fun surprise that will help you understand all of my strange words like Cluckapillergecko. Weeee!

Also, and I am sooo not insinuating I made it, but I went to my Jazz Choir Callback this morning. We have to attend class ever morning and it was awesome. Right now, I'm a Soprano One and I get to sing with Cheyenne and Maren. By the by, Cheyenne gets all kudos for her compassion towards us Newbies and her amazing talent. Hopefully, i stay in Jazz and get to sing Soprano One. It's so thrilling to even be considered for membership in such an elite and wonderful choir and I have nothing but high hopes for the coming week's results. :)

Oddly enough, as Josh, Molly and I were immersed in this strange and beautifully new world of Jazz choir, Josh and I were introduced to a little problem. After we finished rehearsal in band today, Mr. O'Kelly let us know we would be starting early on Tuesday. Josh and I looked at each other with a pang of guilt. Mr. O'Kelly assured us it was no trouble though, so we didn't feel so bad. I think he was actually quite happy. We did learn an important fact of any Band/Choir Hybrid's life: always expect conflict. The teachers really try to make as painless as possible, but in the end, they depend on the strength of the Hybrid to carry them through. It is one of the unspoken Band/Choir Hybrid to Director policy.

But unspoken policies and pictures aside, I better get going. I gotta clean my room so I can get my contacts Woot!
