Twitter Me This
In a flurry of internet activity I have gone and gotten myself a Twitter account. I'm not sure what this means in my life, if the universe as I know it will change irrevocably, but I'm taking the risk. I'm not even entirely sure how or why Twitter works. Anyone out there have any experiences with this, good or bad? I do find that it feels a bit like a life version of one of the word games I love so on the ning.
My entire feeling about internet activities (YouTube, social networking, blogs) is reflected ever so slightly in this. Are all these things a kind of rebound boyfriend? Someone I'll hang out with for a while until we both get sick of each other? Am I over-committing? Will it be a passing infatuation or true true love?
I know that in reality I'll always use various aspects of the internet. It's just too lovely and addictive for words. The people connections are what keeps it all together for me. Yes, that means you.
