37 Things. Yup, I'm jumping on the bandwagon.
1. Do you like blue cheese?
It's not my favorite cheese but I enjoy it now and then, preferably as a dressing.
2. Have you ever smoked?
No, and I never will. I like having the ability to taste and smell thank you.
3. Do you own a gun?
No. Not interested in owning one either.
4. What flavor Kool Aid was your favorite?
I wasn't really a big Kool Aid fan as a kid and it wasn't something my mom bought me. I had it at parties and I'd have to agree with John on this one - red.
5. Do you get nervous before doctor appointments?
Usually, especially if it's a new doctor.
6. What do you think of hot dogs?
I think they're great in corn dog form or kosher with ketchup, mustard, and relish on a sunny day. I'd rather not think about what's in them though.
7. Favorite Christmas movie?
Tough question, I'm a Christmas movie fan. Top three are the original 'We're No Angels,' the original 'Miracle on 31st Street,' and 'It's a Wonderful Life.' Favorite modern Christmas movies are 'Elf' and 'The Ref."
8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning?
Juice or tea. Coffee if I'm running around and desperately need caffeine.
9. Can you do push ups?
Sometimes. Right now I'd probably have to do a baby push up but I can do push ups if I make the effort.
10. What's your favorite piece of jewelry?
A heart shaped pendant necklace that my grandfather gave my grandmother. I inherited it after she died. I have a couple of other sentimental pieces of jewelry that were gifts but if it's jewelry that I bought myself I'd have to say two of my rings - one is a wide, flat, silver ring made by a Native American artist. I bought it in Canada and it has an eagle design. The other is a giant Tiger's Eye. I bought it from this great art jewelry store and it's probably one of the most expensive pieces I own.
11. Favorite hobby?

12. Do you have A.D.D.?
Not that I'm aware of.
13. Do you wear glasses/contacts?
I wore reading glasses when I was a kid but as an adult I went to an optometrist who told me that I'd never needed them. Guess I just had a shady optometrist when I was a kid.

Gonna go with John and CtH here, if you want to know my middle name ask me. If we're friends I may tell you. I will add that I have two middle names, thank you.
15. Name 3 thoughts at this exact moment?
This bagel is good. I just realized this is the first time I've blogged with no pants on. It's hot in here.

Water, Coffee/Tea, Juice (I know I kinda cheated by sneaking in an extra answer)
17. Current worry?
Health and money,baby....health and money. (Maybe I should clarify. 'Baby' is not a worry. I'm responding to the question as if it were a person. The querent is 'baby.')
18. Current hate right now?
Spiders and ants. They're everywhere lately.
19. Favorite place to be?
The ocean or the redwoods....though some of my favorite places/cities have been Vancouver, Santa Fe, Cambria, San Francisco, Tokyo....I just love collecting favorite places. And anywhere the people I love are is pretty much MOA.
20. How did you bring in the new year?
Quietly. I'm not a big New Year's Eve person.
21. Where would you like to go?
Anywhere and everywhere.
22. Name three people who will complete this?
Um...me,me,and me? I don't believe on forcing quizzes on people. If you wanna do it, do it.
23. Do you own slippers?
Yes, they're fuzzy and green and they make me look like I have Muppet feet.

Purple v-neck

No, but I do believe in nice sheets. Egyptian cotton works for me.

Sometimes. I've been practicing.

Probably not. I'm not a very lawless person. But I did have an ancestor who was a pirate so it must be in my blood. Maybe it's just dormant. Maybe I've just been waiting for the perfect ship and crew.

Mood Indigo and Kindred Spirit, mainly because you can sing the choruses over and over and still enjoy them.
30. Favorite Girl's Name?
I don't really have favorite names. I think some names are pretty but it depends on the person as to whether I really like the name or not.

I'm still not wearing pants! No pockets.

I'm sure I've had a giggle here or there from things my friends have said today but I can't really remember. I know I laughed watching Eddie Izzard last night though.

1995 Maroon Toyota Previa van...yes, I'm a soccer mom. Only without the soccer or the kids.

Probably broken arm, though my broken nose was more traumatic.

Only one is working though usually two.

I know, two Nerdfighter symbols. While I'm happy to know that I have good vision I do miss that awesome look that glasses provide. This could be part of the reason why I'm awfully fond of sunglasses.

Isn't that strange? I think I couldn't remember the last time I laughed because I often have a giggle here and there. Also, I didn't know if they meant laughed out loud (HAHAHA) or just felt a happy warm mental laugh, the kind where you just smile and feel good.
