2/27: The Oscars

Here are my little comments about the giantest award show in America. :)

 

So first of all, as a girly girl I spent a good portion of the show checking out dresses. The ones I liked were Ann Hathaway's from the red carpet, the girl from True Grit, and a handful of other's that I can't think of right this second or can't remember who wore them. Anyways, moving on :) I thought that as far as hosts went Ann Hathaway was very entertaining and James Franco was just kinda there. Don't get me wrong, I think he is awesome and all but Ann really stole the show from him. As for the awards this was a new type of viewing experiance because I had seen half the movies nominated for best picture. Along with that I had actually seen one of the documentaries too which has never happened to me before! I was overall happy with who won everything however, as much as I absolutely loved Toy Story 3 I didn't think the song should have won best original song. I prefered the song from Tangled...though that might just have something to do with my love of Zachary Levi (I mean he can sing AND he plays a super nerd/super spy on TV) <3 All in all I liked the Oscars a lot more than most years and was finding myself wishing I was there... :)
