Nerdfighters

I've only added 20 books so far in hopes I could get a few recommendations. I enjoy mysteries, fantasty, fiction, etc...pretty much everything but horror books and would enjoy a few recommendations that are not well known. I love knowing I read a book before many of my mates have or before it becomes well known. I've left the last 30 spaces blank for your recommendations and for my own after-the-fact add.

How far along are you? February was not a good month for me. Only 3 sad books.

I'm still stuck on Chalice. McKinley keeps saying Chalice over and over. It's a bit distracting. And I have about 5 awesome advance reading copies that I really want to read NOW. So...I've completed 1/3 of a book so far. Eck.

You having any more luck?

I've heard much about those but never thought to add them. Thanks for the suggestion! ;D

All of the Inkheart books (Inkheart, Inkworld, Inkdeath) by Cornelia Funke are amazing. Long, to be sure, but amazingly well written and beautiful. Inkheart is coming out this month as a movie, as well! :D I have my own list of over 50 books I want to read this year, so I'll add to this sometime soon. ;)

Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, Ender's Game, and The Road by Cormac McCarthy.
All of these are good books.

The Princess and the Hound by Mette Ivie Harrison is really good. It's a fantasy.
Princess Ben by Catherine Gilbert Murdock is really good too.
