A New Year, An Old Problem

Another New Year, another set of resolutions. I always joked my only resolution was to not make any resolutions. Few people actually carry out their self appointed tasks. This year has seen so many things happen in terms of sport and the Olympics, the British Royal Family and the unfortunately numerous tragedies. Looking at all that and more makes you realise that only you can change many of your habits and actions, so why not give it your all this year? On a personal note this is something I have been considering a lot, and I intend to see them through. Here are the three I have set out as personal goals:

1) Reconnect with the friends that life has forced me to neglect over the last few years.

2) Learn a new skill (either an instrument or photography more than likely).

3) Evaluate all the time I spend and redistribute it to better suit my goals, my friends, my job and the Ning.

Earlier this week I was on the Nintendo website looking at the products I had registered with them, and my first one was nearly six years ago. Where the hell has the time gone? This is a sobering question. "Time is a valuable thing" as Linkin Park say in their song "In the End". Time waits for no man (or woman), so make sure you are ready to travel with it! I guess what I am getting at in these ramblings is life is short my friends, so don't waste what time you have. Go out and do something new, something different or just something to make another's life a little better. Make 2013 your year Nerdfighteria, make me and yourselves proud, and most importantly make the most of every experience!
