Nerdfighters

Hello, I'm Kate, and a severely green nerdfighter. I just figured I'd tell you a little bit about myself without feeling quite as pretentious as I do when I'm filling out profile info. I tend to be a wee bit prolific (just check out my profile, I babble on and on and there) so maybe a blog will suit me. If only I could find something to talk about...

By the way, if we ever become friends (and I sincerely hope we do) feel free to just randomly say hello and talk the most obscure things you can think of, because I like to talk. I just sometimes can't find the means to start a conversation. I also make it a habit to be as nonjudgmental and fair as possible, so if I EVER go too far or EVER treat you unfairly, lemme know. Or give me an e-slap in the iFace. :)

And I love sarcasm, so that can be a big issue. If I say something that seems really, ridiculously stupid, give me the benefit of the doubt and assume I'm just epically failing at funny,

So, I'm just an average teen girl in the Mid-West who loves things no one else seems to like. Hopefully I'll find some like-minded people here. ^.^ I have this really weird fascination with cute monsters, but my nickname comes from a musical. Avenue Q, anyone?

...I think this blog is gettin' boring now. Nothings ever fun if you don't have anyone to share it with, so I'll just wait and see if anyone comments. I promise the next one will be funnier. Or I'll try to make it funnier...

Anyways...errrr....BYE!!!

Kate Monster

P.B. I think it's impossible to make a monster smiley... :[

Haha well I think you can be forgiven...this time.

Well I think we all want to go somewhere foreign, and do/ meet someone different.
Your gun nut friend scares me a little...

Well, as long as your fine with your home country, why change :)
A friend of mine is fixed on moving to the UK, while another friend of mine wants to live in the States.

The former just loves British men (and she's planning on marrying one!) and their dialect, while the latter is a total gun nut.
And in Germany it is close to impossible to own a gun (thanks alot, world war 2).

Well I can't honestly say because I haven't done much research, but I'm fine with a little more socialism. I have no problem providing for other people, because I know in the end I'll need to be provided for. It'd certainly be some place where it's considered socially acceptable to speak your mind as well. I suppose that leaves a lot of countries open...

It really did.
If you could freely choose without ramifications, is there a country you would rather live in?

That is an entirely understandable reason. It's all showmanship and no one is real anymore. They all say one thing to get elected then run it into the ground just to get re-elected. Then they are payed off by lobbyists. It's become really sad.

agreed.
That is, by the way, the only reason I'd rather live in Germany than in the US.
I would probably not survive a week knowing that my fate is decided in parts by those ... guys.

Thank you! I just have become tired of people's rudeness towards people who disagree with them.

Yeah, US politics are ridiculous. I can't stand the majority of the things that go on in Congress. It's become a dramatic theater, instead of a place of resolution.

That's incredibly sad.
I enjoy discussion with conservatives, because I can't wrap my head around them to be honest.
My ultimate goal in live is to be objective and no partison idiot, but it is really hard.
Well at least when it comes to US politics (which, strangely enough, I'm a little intersted in).

But being open minded is great and ideal for a nerdfighter :)
