Why, yes Barnes & Noble employee, I am fully aware that I am in the children's department. Don't reprimand me. That condescending look is not appreciated. It's not my fault that you guys constantly put books such as The Golden Compass alongside books like Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs (which is a fantastic book by the way). How can you claim your books are organized when The Blind Side is in the Golf section?
And what if I do enjoy children's books? Don't tell me you've never enjoyed the occasional Where's Waldo or that you've never skimmed through the Legend of Zelda comics sitting in the back left corner of the store, where you can sit there for hours and read every single one of them without being bothered.
Your reaction is a little disappointing but I'll let it slide. I will continue to use Barnes & Noble because your paperbacks are reasonably priced, I don't have to pay for shipping or wait for my book to come in the mail.
So that was this afternoon. Bookstores are already stressful without people judging your reading choices. I had to turn down at least 10 books that I'd picked up because I only had enough money for 2. asdfg
This morning was a lot more pleasant. I worked on this Spider-man shoulder bag. I'll upload pictures as soon as I'm finished which should be soon because I need to be able to give it to my friend before the movie comes out on the 3rd.
Til then, people of the Internet!
