Call of Duty: MW3 and George R.R. Martin [bit of a spoiler alert here...]

So I discovered and finished the campaign for COD:MW3 a few days ago.  I have a sneaking suspicion that George R.R. Martin of the Song of Ice and Fire series had something to do with the story development as practically ALL the characters I got attached to DIED! O_o

Haha that's a good one!  They left one of my guys alive though (but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets killed off in an expansion or something)
