Communication is Key...
One thing I have noticed when it comes to Nerdfighters is that, as a community we are well connected to one another. Problem is that the site itself is the main way people stay in contact. So when something happens for example the Ning deciding they want to work on maintenance when it is most inconvenient for the rest of us, that contact shuts down. I received around about 43 e-mail's asking about what happened to the site. It was frustrating to have to e-mail everybody back with the same answer. So we need a solution! The solution is... twitter. As twitter has become a global phenomenon I was not one of it's biggest fans. But despite my personal misgivings it has taken off in a huge way. So who am I to argue with the internet? Exactly! No one.
So here is the Twitter name I will be using to post any updates regarding the site on for the foreseeable future- @Newdavelopment .
So give it a follow if you want to hear about the latest happenings on Nerdfighters and I will endeavour to update it as frequently as I can!
